The hotel was in an ideal situation for visiting Bath. The city centre was near enough to walk to. The hotel was in its own grounds with the Henrietta park opposite. The ambiance was superb . It was a calm and peaceful area. We celebrated our Diamond wedding Anniversary with a special tea. The staff were friendly and efficient

We only stayed one night but had a great time. Upon arrival Anna welcomed us like old friends and the tea and cake was a real welcome after a long drive. All staff were very helpful and professional. We're already planning to return for a longer stay.

i have stayed in the roseate villa for a week and i have never experienced such hospitality and friendly staff. They do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The room is very nicely decorated, complete, clean and with a good bed. the location of the Roseate Villa is perfectly situated next to Henrietta park and near the center of Bath.

Booked a visit through secret escapes , was a bit concerned as didn’t have a good experience before Anyway this hotel is absolutely lovely , beds very comfortable, breakfast really good , the veggie breakfast was Great and I’m not veggie , the staff are brilliant as well We didn’t get a choice of rooms through secret escapes , so our room was a double garden view , the only downside was The extremely small but compact bathroom Planning to visit again , but will be booking a deluxe room next time

This was our first visit to this hotel, but we have stayed in Bath on several occasions. The Roseate Villa is perfectly placed for a short stroll into the city. Our room overlooked the garden and was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed for our two night stay. However, what makes this hotel so good is the fabulous team that run it. Every team member was welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had afternoon tea in the garden on arrival. The quality of the food and the beauty of the exquisite cakes rivalled that of some of the best hotels in central London, in my opinion. Breakfast was equally good and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a hotel the next time we visit Bath.

I wrote a review of this hotel a few years ago. We loved it then and have returned from time to time, the standard of welcome and service never slips. What spawned this new review, we were fortunate enough to be staying on Jubilee Saturday when the hotel offered a Jubilee afternoon tea. What a wonderful experience. Champagne, delicate sandwiches with thoughtful fillings, homemade scones and jam, Jubilee themed cocktail and all crowned with a selection of hand crafted cakes that would not been amiss in the Savoy. A warm ambience was supplied by a truly excellent baritone singer and pianist with nostalgic songs relevant to the occasion. Caroline, the general manager, and her team put on a thoughtful and memorable occasion with their usual high standards of service. All in all an excellent afternoon and stay.

We arrived early , dropped our suitcase off which was delivered to our room whilst out. The receptionist was very polite . The hotel is a few minutes away from Pultney Bridge and a short stroll to city centre and Roman Baths. The room was a lovely pale blue with soft furnishings (superior double room) which over looked Henrietta Park .The bed was huge and very comfortable.staff were very efficient and nothing was too much trouble . Our room was cleaned very well . The breakfast was good you can have Continental or Full English and not cheap ingredients so was very tasty . I really cannot fault this hotel or staff on anything .

Stayed for one night in a king room made up as a twin. Pros- good room size and layout, comfy beds and lovely location. Cons- tea at breakfast wasn’t hot, coffee was awful, some grit in spinach. Cooked breakfast was very good but the overall breakfast experience was disappointing. It was a nice stay but just felt it didn’t quite live up to expectations.

We regularly stay in nice hotels and we thought this was overpriced. We were warned that we had taken the last room which was adjacent to reception and that there may be some noise. The noise disturbance wasn’t actually too bad but there were privacy issues on opening the door and we thought that the position and size of the room didn’t warrant the price that we paid. We were also very unhappy that we were charged 20 pounds to park our car in the hotel car park - this is an extra cost which should be free of charge when staying in the hotel.

Room Tip: Don’t agree to book the room next to reception and the car park is small and difficult to get in...

This boutique hotel is a delight and we loved everything about our four night stay. The atmosphere was relaxed, the breakfasts delicious and the staff ultra friendly and helpful. We had a very comfortable room overlooking the gardens and parkland, but all of it within an easy walk of the city centre. Highly recommended – we can't wait for our next visit!
