We had to go to Bath for a family funeral. We stayed for two nights. The Roseate were sensitive & kind to us during a difficult stay. The hotel staff are kind and accommodating. The chef kindly made gluten free pancakes for our son! Katerina deserves a social mention. She went out of her way to be kind & helpful. We were also served complimentary tea & cake on the day of the funeral, which was a lovely touch.
We were delighted with our stay at the Roseate Villa! We were upgraded to one of the best rooms which was a lovely surprise. Room was huge, with a little porch before the main bedroom and a luxurious bathroom! Lovely large windows looking out to well kept garden. Extremely clean and well equipped with hair dryer/dressing table/fridge and refreshments. The homemade shortbread got stocked up each day too!! The staff were so helpful and very generous. Breakfast was incredible! Homemade smoothie, juice, coffee/tea, continental bits AND a cooked breakfast!!!! Homemade compote and jam were divine. Could not fault the hotel at all! Would highly recommend. Really enjoyable stay with only a 5 min walk to Pulteney Bridge!!!
A weekend in Bath spent at the Roseate Villa was just fabulous. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. Attention to detail is perfect and our room was just simply lovely. The location is central and parking was no problem. I cannot recommend more highly and will definitely be back. Just as an added extra, breakfast - it was the best I have ever had, perfectly fresh and delicious as well as served in a relaxed environment - really started the day nicely. Thank you.
An amazing small hotel a short walk from city centre. Our first impressions came from the wonderful staff. Polite, kind, helpful with genuine compassion about what they do. The hotel is traditional British in presentation and customer service. High standards of decor and attention to detail. Our room was booked as a standard king. There is no way that is what we had; it was huge. Stylish, comfortable with its own entrance hall and massive two room’d bathroom. We must have been upgraded to a suite as it was a birthday treat. Breakfast was stylish. Crisp linen table cloth and napkins. Great choice and high standards of food and of course attentive service. There is parking on site. It’s an easy 15 minute walk from Bath Spa station. The main centre is 10/15 minutes walk. 25 mins to the Botanical Gardens and 20 Royal Crescent. Bars, coffee shops and eateries are everywhere and easy to get to. Main attractions of Pulteney Bridge (5 mins) and Bath Abbey and Roman baths (15 mins) and very close. Special mention to Isobel, Christa and Anna at the Hotel who were just wonderful. Thank you…
We booked a couple of nights stay with breakfast and afternoon tea for my parent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. They had a wonderful time and had lots of positive things to say.
Our favourite hotel in Bath. In fact, we don’t even bother to look elsewhere now! Roseate Villa is perfect in every way, from the welcome to check out. We cannot fault the rooms and the breakfast is superb. We will be back again this year.
Probably the best hotel in Bath. The location really couldn't be any nicer. Right next to and overlooking a very beautiful park on one side and close to to river on the other. It's a stones throw from the city centre yet very quiet. An amazing feat ! The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Villa
The staff were excellent. So helpful and friendly. They went over and above to ensure we had a good stay. The food at breakfast was lovely. The room was beautiful with a new bathroom. The whole hotel felt homely but not too intimate.
Bath is always a lovely place to visit, and as we have now recently discovered the Roseate Villa is the perfect place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and when it comes to the amazing breakfast whether you have the full English, or one of the other options, you will not be disappointed with the quality of the food, or the attentive and friendly service. We are always cautious about recommending to others places like hotels, as individual experiences can sometimes be very different, but can highly recommend this is little gem.
Brilliant location and attentive staff. The food was delicious. The afternoon tea was fantastic and all the home made food was an added touch. We will defiantly be back, wish we could of stayed longer. The staff were very friendly which was an added plus.
