Nestled within four acres of mature award-winning gardens and spacious terraces, The Bath Priory sets itself apart as a peaceful haven in a bustling city. The Georgian house of honey-coloured Bath stone enjoys a tranquil location just a short walk through Royal Victoria Park to Bath’s city centre. The award-winning spa has a selection of luxurious treatments, an indoor pool, pool-side sauna, elliptical steam pod and shower. From the moment you enter The Garden Spa by L’OCCITANE, fragrances transport you to Provence; the escape begins with scent. Every gesture, every ingredient, every ritual is drawn from a page of the L’OCCITANE grand herbarium, a resource of hundreds of essential oils and natural ingredients. Steeped in Roman history, the city of Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Roman Baths, Pump Rooms and Theatre Royal are noteworthy highlights alongside the city’s architectural merits including the Royal Crescent and The Circus.

Amazing place. The garden was lovely. Very professional, room service was great. Everything was perfect other than the bed only having sheets and a thin blanket rather than a duvet, therefore, we were a little cold.

Really comfortable and special birthday celebration. Food was absolutely wonderful and the staff were so warm and friendly. Lovely position to explore Bath and yet enjoy some privacy. The Spa complemented the quality of the rest of the hotel. We came back home feeling very relaxed and spoilt.

Attended with a friend. Arrived early and greeted by a very polite and helpful gentleman. Taken straight to our table and served cocktails. Not rushed at all and staff happy to wait till drinks finished before serving tea. Food was amazing and lovely selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones. Staff really attentive. Nothing was too much trouble . Would definitely recommend and looking forward to returning.

Took advantage of the winter break offer for a DB&B night away to celebrate my birthday. As always the food and service was excellent. We were well looked after. Nice atmosphere even though it was a damp day in January. Even though we had a "classic" room it was really nice, spacious, warm and comfortable.

Great hotel, with some wonderful long serving staff. Really miss the Lunch menu though! Lilac was a beautiful room with a lovely view (despite the rain). Location if fantastic, and the walk into Bath, just right for you to feel you have had some exercise!
