Such a lovely boutique guest house. We stayed in the Bronte room, a quaint room with views over the gardens and Bath. Personable service from Grant and the team...even organised to have our bags sent to us later in the day in Bath to get the train, continental breaky was great too. Overall, highly recommended. P.S. if you're happy to... More

Susan was so lovley, such a clean beautful house. Would highly recomend a stay here. We walked through the garden into Bath it's a beautful 20 minute walk. Good variety at breakfast. We also fancied a drink before bed which he had and was no problem for sue.

Booked after finding on TripAdvisor. Booked the romance package and well worth it. We arrived early to a friendly reception from Grant the manager, and went for a walk into Bath. Real quirky idea that they let you borrow welly boots to walk down the large well kept gardens to walk into town via the canal. They keep bees down... More

My stay at the Tasburgh was wonderful. Sue, Grant, and Staff were very professional and helpful. My room was upgraded at no additional cost to me at the time of check-in which was a very pleasant surprise. My emails prior to arriving where always answered promptly. Sue went out of her way to make me and my friends comfortable. The... More

Met by lovely hotel staff on arrival and taken to our room. The room was spacious and clean with a chaise lounge at the end of the bed. Weather was bad so could not walk through the garden to get to the city. Next day walked around the top of the garden which was nice. Breakfast, which was excellent, consisted... More

What a great place, people and environment. Could not be more helpful, with great food rooms and friendly team. Bath was great and this location made it more so. Didn't try the evening meal but after I saw the breakfast and some other guests comments I wish I had. Thanks for a great stay.

A fantastic hotel in a great location. Views from our excellent room (Tennyson) were spectacular (photographs). Staff extremely welcoming, friendly and obliging. Only negative was an overly complex breakfast pricing whereby even croissants were an extra to the continental breakfast. This did not however spoil our stay in any way. We will definitely come back again next year. Thank you.

Martin & Dellcia, Thank you for your glowing review. The team and I are pleased that you enjoyed your time here. We take all comments seriously, and apologise that you felt our breakfast pricing was complex, however the bed and breakfast rate does state that it includes continental only and not cooked. Nonetheless, we look forward to welcoming you both... More

This was actually my second visit to the hotel - I took my fiancé having previously visited on a girls weekend. Beautiful scenery, rooms are lovely and we were upgraded to a slightly larger suite which was wonderful. Breakfast is also delicious. About a twenty minute walk to town - can go via the canal at the bottom of the... More

Lovely hotel, charming and helpful staff. Sue runs this hotel as her own home. We had a lovely family reunion there. Great location as offers a nice, riverside walk into Bath to work off a huge delicious breakfast. Lovely place.

We were in Bath for my mothers 60th and Sue did all possible to make it a special and memorable occasion. Nothing was too much trouble and everything ran perfectly with great attention to detail. The breakfasts were wonderful. The rooms are unique with a great deal of charm and character. I especially loved the view from the Hardy room.... More
