Hotel within walking distance of train station and also attractions, such as the Abbey and Roman baths, and the shopping centre with a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful with any queries. We had cooked breakfasts, which were delicious and generous; and I had the vegetarian breakfast, which is the best I have ever...

Stayed in a small room. Air conditioning units placed just outside and were noisy all day till very late. I think th noise of the units stopped around 11pm but kicked in again early hours of the morning. More disturbing was the fact that the toilet was in the room. I was shocked by this. There was no door, no...

Upgraded room on arrival, facilities in room first class, bathroom was practically space age😊. Perfect location with good places to eat and drink on the doorstep. General manager met with me personally on my leaving to discuss an improvement to their services based on my observations, excellent customer service, we will be back.

Good location with helpful team receptionists (camomile tea) :-) !!! Nice and clean room. Bar with good selection of spirits!!! If you are vegan avoid the breakfast to go to the green rocket cafe at just 30 seconds from the hotel!!

We called in to the Abbey for a drink on the way back to our hotel. The evening was so warm we were able to sit outside with our friends and enjoy the evening. We only had wine and beer but it was very pleasant and the staff were attentive, despite telling us the bar was closing earlier than it...

Visited with my wife and the hotel is very centrally situated. Check in was efficient and the breakfasts were very good-best pot of tea I have had for some while. The room was nice but with no view, although that did not bother us. We booked an alarm call for 7.25 but it did not arrive until 7.55,by which time...

Situated in the heart of the downtown historical district yet only a few block from the train station, the Roman bath and everything else this wonderful city has to offer the Abbey Hotel was a highlight of our trip. I have stayed here a few times over the years as I am in Bath on business regularly. During that time, the hotel has been much improved, particularly as regards the bathrooms, which have moved on from low pressure showers over the bath, complete with plastic curtains, to a modern shower unit with a lovely overhead showerhead and good pressure....

This hotel could not be anymore central. The decor in the bar area is quirky-fantastic and the rooms are comfortable and clean and even come with an iPad! However the charger in our room had stopped working. The staff at reception were polite and friendly, however it would have been useful to know where in the hotel we could take...
