This hotel is perfectly located to visit Bath! It's walking distance from everything that we wanted to do and see and was easy to access. Beyond the location, we were a little disappointed. It was very noisy, not just external noise from the street but also within the hotel. The breakfast was a little disappointing and overall, we weren't that impressed.

Great location with wonderful staff who were very friendly, helpful and attentive. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were wonderful with our dog. Lovely rooms and we did not suffer from any external or internal noise. The bed was extremely comfortable but perhaps the size was too generous as it restricted the space available in the room. Enjoyable breakfast again with very attentive staff. Would definitely stay again when we return to Bath.

This hotel is located in a perfect location, minutes away from the railway station and the city centre. The rooms are tastefully decorated – many hotels rooms tend to be quite ‘neutral’ and bland – but this is not the case here and various rooms have a different design. While the location is great and the hotel is aesthetically pleasing, I had to give it only 3 out of 5 stars due to the lack of sufficient soundproofing in the room. I have stayed in this hotel on Sunday and the hotel did not seem to be very busy. After I checked in, there was a lot of loud noise and banging noise coming from the upstairs (housekeeping) but luckily no one seemed to stay in the room above for a night. There was a noise coming from the neighbouring room as well as from the corridor every time someone walked by or entered their room. While this was manageable for a night, I cannot imagine staying at this hotel during a busier period or for more than a single night.

The perfect location walking distance to everything! The staff here are amazing! Particularly Cara on the front desk. She went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after! Unfortunately the first room we had was very dirty. The carpet was full of hairs and lots of hairs on the bed! Cara was so apologetic and moved us rooms instantly! We couldn’t have asked for a better service. Breakfast was a little disappointing as the hotel had run out of most foods. However this was not surprising 2 days before lockdown. Overall, ideal location, extremely comfy beds, great service and covid secure!

I stayed here by myself for a couple of nights to get away and I have not got one bad thing to say about the hotel. The staff were so friendly, the room had everything you could possibly need and the bed was so comfy! The shower was also very powerful, unlike some that you get in hotels. The bar area downstairs was also lovely and cosy and the cocktails were really good. The location is very central with the Roman Baths and the Abbey just a stones throw away. I felt very safe staying here and had everything I needed on my doorstep. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Brilliant for the money paid to stay here.
