Hotel was beautiful, room very clean and worth the money. Great to have the choice of breakfast in bed and this service was easy to use but unfortunately our order was incorrect and the food average. Spa was a little dated and small but treatment experience good. Reception staff good but concierge friendly and helpful. Short walk to town but...

My daughter and I stayed for one night so that we could visit Bath and do some Xmas shopping. Hotel itself is nice and the spa was lovely but we decided to eat dinner at the hotel after a long day and we were extremely disappointed by the Collonnade restaurant. Firstly it was cold and there did not appear to...

We stayed at the 5 star hotel last night thinking it was going to be a great stay ready for a day of Christmas Shopping. Arrived at the hotel to discover that everyone has to pay £5 for car parking. Seams strange when you pay over £150 to stay for a night. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Hotel was...

We stayed here on a family trip (two in their 60's and three of us in our 30's) I feel I'm going to contradict myself here... while our stay was lovely I was disappointed with the hotel. The setting is beautiful and very grand. The grounds are lovely. They have a lovely bar which it's nice to sit in for...

The staff - Ra in particular - went beyond the call of duty, but the bath is not accessible for a wheelchair user, and the room is way below 5-star - jaded, ragged, paint peeling, very cramped for a wheelchair user. Even the dressing-gowns looked really battered. Lousy view onto a fire escape didn't help. Restaurant mediocre - rump steak...

We had picked the Mcdonald Hotel as a treat for a long weekend for the Christmas markets. Location is 15-20 mins walk into town with a great views if you head up the road behind and to the castle. We checked in but found we had only booked for 2 nights instead of 3 and whilst this was our mistake,...

We visited the hotel as part of a three day business meeting. It has a great location with some stunning views, however the rooms were quite tired and under invested. The service was somewhat modelled Fawlty towers! The heating didn't work well for the time we were there on a cold snap.

Beautiful hotel! Very kind and helpful staff. Breakfast was very nice and the spa was good as well! Rooms are huge super king bed in out room with a large bathroom. And only a 5/10 minute walk in the city through a lovely park. Can't compliment it enough.

Three friends and I booked 2 twin rooms via a cheap overnight bed and breakfast deal. Our room had pleasant view of spa and local hill. The room was large with 3 armchairs, desk, two large comfortable beds and other tables with unit containing tea/coffee making items. Good selection of teas, with coffee and chocolate sachets. There was also a...
