This was our best hotel stay in some time. Duke’s a beautifully presented hotel and manages to be upmarket without being at all stuffy. We were made to feel so welcome by Nicky, who looked after us through our stay. The whole experience had a real family feel and we were always looked after. The staff were knowledgably about the local area and directed us on a beautiful walk along Bath Skyline. Nicky and Carole were then keen to ask us about our day and on the Saturday night we joined another two couples in the upstairs lounge for drinks (all socially distanced of course!). The breakfast was a delight and all cooked fresh. The best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had! We can’t wait to return to Duke’s

I cannot recommend Dukes enough. It's a truly beautiful hotel with a lovely sense of calm and a really personal feel - like staying in a grand house rather than a hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and discreet - offering as much help and information as i needed while also giving me space. I stayed in the Grafton room which was up four flights of stairs. I arrived early and dropped off my case, and when i checked-in, it had been carried up to my room and was waiting for me. COVID measures were in place with staggered breakfast sittings planned on arrival and masks worn in communal areas. Breakfast was as good as they say - lots of options and absolutely delicious. I loved my stay at Dukes and felt totally relaxed there. I would definitely return again.

I stayed at the Dukes for a weekend with my sister as a treat as due to Covid we have missed so many celebrations.. I came across The Dukes Bath and didnt hesitate to book a room The Hotel lived up to the pictures on the site in fact the rooms look better in person and did not disappoint in any way, We stayed in the Athol Suite.. what a stunning grandeur room this was with a 4 Poster Bed that had an amazing comfy mattress you just dont want to get out of. there is a drinks tray of tea or coffee or Hot Chocolate or bottles of water sparkling and still which is replenished daily. Carole the owner could not have been more helpful on the phone in planning our stay and catered for every detail required or needed another member of staff Nicky was welcoming on arrival and made you feel like part of the family and nothing was too much trouble if we needed anything too. Breakfast was organised by a booking system that worked well and the breakfast itself was plentiful from fresh pastries, cereal, juices to a full cooked breakfast or salmon and eggs if you preferred with unlimited tea The hotel itself is located just over the river about a 10min walk into town very straight forward so you cant get lost and there is so much to see in Bath with a variety of lovely restaurants can recommend the Balcony Thai but please remember you will need to book in advance as everything gets booked quickly due to the booking systems and you only get 1.30hrs to eat your meal so plan your time wisely I would definitely recommend the Dukes Bath for anyone that wants a relaxing break with a bit of luxury at the same time. Thank you Carole and Nicky from the Collins sisters.

A lovely Georgian Hotel. The perfect place to stay for a relax break in Bath. A short walk to all the main attractions and many quality restaurants Bath has to offer. Staff were all attentive and friendly and even provided us with a few ideas for what we might want to do. The breakfast choice was great and the quality of the ingredients even better. The room itself was lovely the website does not do it justice beautiful ! We will be back
