The Royal Crescent Hotel is the most impressively located luxury hotel in the World Heritage City of Bath, occupying the two central buildings of the world's finest crescent. The Grade I listed buildings were designed by the famous Georgian Architect, John Wood the Younger and were first occupied in 1775.Beyond its magnificent facade lies a hotel renowned for its charm, elegance and superb service, and, the unexpected beauty of the beautiful one-acre, landscaped garden leading to the skillfully converted coach houses, which now accommodate the award-winning Dower House restaurant and The Spa.This iconic hotel is far more than a remarkable collection of buildings and beautiful gardens. It offers the opportunity to experience a style of gracious living from the age when Bath was the very centre of the civilized world.Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are served daily and non-resident guests are welcome.

Our first stay here and hopefully not our last. A beautiful period collection of buildings with pool and spa, comfy drawing rooms and delightful bar. Room had a fantastic view and was extremely comfortable...particularly the bed. Top quality everything and all staff here are

Having visited Bath and walked past this hotel on numerous occasions, we decided to push the boat out and book a room for a couple of nights. It was nothing short of amazing. When we drove up and got out of the car, the door man approached us, he was friendly and professional

We had a wonderful two night stay at the Royal Crescent, we being a mid fifties couple and our 23 year old daughter. The location is obviously ideal and as lovely as it’s reputation. We were able to walk into Bath for meals, a bespoke tour, and being adjacent to Victoria Park

Another wonderful experience at the RCH. Stepping through the door is like stepping into another (better) world. The staff were warm and attentive, providing the level of service you would expect from a hotel of this calibre, whilst being genuinely unstuffy and interested

Thank you for your review and we note all your comments. We have taken some time to investigate them at length with the team. Our Deluxe Rooms face the city and your booking indicates that you were booked in on a very special past guest rate, (discounted at 40%), and chose to book a Deluxe Room. The room in question is in fact one of our most popular rooms, with a beautifully spacious bathroom and a great favourite with many of our guests. However, any guest may upgrade to a higher category Heritage Room at an additional cost of only £50. All our Heritage Rooms & Suites have views either over the Crescent or our one acre of garden and are therefore very tranquil despite the fact that The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa is located in the centre of the City. We cannot regretfully, control external noise and we apologise if any noise was made by our staff entering or leaving and will certainly discuss this with the team and ensure this is kept to the absolute minimum. With regard to your comments that no one was there on your arrival and departure, we have established that although our concierge team were giving other guests assistance, at the time of your arrival, our reception team were present and waiting to receive you. On departure a senior member of our concierge team was actually assisting your husband when loading luggage into your car. On receiving a complaint at 5am the following morning, our Night Manager apologised for any disruption and offered to move you to an alternative room in a quieter part of the hotel, which was not taken up. We made a gesture on departure to offer you an upgrade to a Heritage Room on your next visit and this was also dismissed. We regret that you did not enjoy your time here and that you do not wish to return.
