The Royal Crescent Hotel is the most impressively located luxury hotel in the World Heritage City of Bath, occupying the two central buildings of the world's finest crescent. The Grade I listed buildings were designed by the famous Georgian Architect, John Wood the Younger and were first occupied in 1775.Beyond its magnificent facade lies a hotel renowned for its charm, elegance and superb service, and, the unexpected beauty of the beautiful one-acre, landscaped garden leading to the skillfully converted coach houses, which now accommodate the award-winning Dower House restaurant and The Spa.This iconic hotel is far more than a remarkable collection of buildings and beautiful gardens. It offers the opportunity to experience a style of gracious living from the age when Bath was the very centre of the civilized world.Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are served daily and non-resident guests are welcome.

Our stay was wonderful! It allowed us to escape everyday life and get a real break! Sebastian and Mark’s efforts as well as the restaurant staff and cleaners led to an incredible stay in an enchanting environment. The royal crescent is a true gem of Bath!

We had a lovely overnight stay here. Everything managed very efficiently and in a friendly manner. My husband swam in the relaxation pool for an hour and enjoyed it. We had dinner, mostly from the all day menu, which was very good apart from the sunflower seeds missing from the beetroot salad. The waiter brought a little dish of sunflower seeds to sprinkle on the salad ourselves. I thought the price of the dessert I chose from the a la Carte menu was a bit steep, but I suppose they charged it as one course. The room was comfortable, though in the basement. The kettle didn’t work, but someone brought another one quite quickly. There was no milk for tea and coffee in the room, and my husband’s request wasn’t acted on. But it wasn’t essential. Great to have the car looked after by the concierge staff. Absolutely gorgeous location, we will go again.

Wonderful 2 nights just before going back into lockdown. Beautiful hotel. The setting and location were fabulous. The gardens were gorgeous and all lit up with candles and lights though sadly it was too wet to sit out. Staff were very helpful and everything was very clean. It was very relaxing using the pool and spa facilities.

I’ll start by saying this was the best nights sleep me and my husband have ever had in a hotel! From start to finish service was impeccable. The room was beautiful, bed super comfy. Spa lovely. Food in the bar area perfect for us and reasonable value. We stayed on a weekend night near Christmas so price was at the higher end but it felt worth it after a long year! Would highly recommend, all in all a blissful weekend. Thank you!

I really enjoyed staying in The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa, impeccable service, great location, fantastic breakfast (perhaps the best I've ever had). The only thing I did not like was the noise in the room, perhaps from the air-conditioning units. Also I could hear some noise coming from the next room.
