A very enjoyable overnight stay. Clean, comfortable room and bed and friendly, helpful staff. We also enjoyed the restaurant meal deal with cocktail which was really good value ! Good, central location.
I just want to say what amazing weekend my partner and I had for our over night stay in Bath. I booked this hotel for my partners surprise birthday. Firstly a big thank you to the reception staff, they were quick, efficient and even upgraded our room and let us check in 1 hour eariler as the room was ready, which was really handy for us. The room was lovely and well presented. A big comfy bed, clean, spacious bathroom and shower. Fridge stocked with water and tea and coffee provided as well a coffee machine. I asked the hotel if they could make a birthday cake and they delivered perfectly. A lovely chocolate cake, with strawberries and macaroons as well as a hand written note. This was a great personal touch for a special occasion. We ate out so I can't comment on the restaurant. The pool facilities, sauna, steam room and showers were great! You book a time slot at reception to avoid crowds, we had the pool to yourselves for a short while which was great. The hotel is located in the heart of the city and walking distance to all the attractions. Overall a great stay would 100% recommend and 100% would return.…
Lovely room very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool. Great breakfast. Will definitely be coming again. Would have liked to have had more choice on tv, no movie channels so limited choice for children. Overall great stay.
Overall a nice hotel although the check in experience wasn't great, slightly difficult member of staff - but quickly resolved by the manager Andrei. Room was very clean but a horrible smell in the bathroom, so we had to wait to get that fixed - but it was done quite quickly Spa facilities great, very nice steam room and sauna although it's not a swimming pool, too many people to actually swim. The booking process was pointless as most people using the spa hadn't, but you can't fault the hotel for the people who stay there. Gym was fine but perfunctory, but my teenage son was happy to use it late at night with no other people there. Main complaint was getting our orders for breakfast wrong two days in a row - pancakes came with bacon and the veggie breakfast with meat sausages. Waitress tried to tell us they were vegetarian, but I haven't eaten meat for decades, my son has never eaten meat and we can smell the difference. It was a weekend and the Saturday was VERY busy, but no excuse on a quiet Sunday. It was a very pleasant stay but given what we paid, it wasn't a cheap and for us, serving meat on our food - and the speed it was returned made me assume they'd just taken the meat off - is unacceptable…
A lovely stay at the Apex Hotel Bath. A break to celebrate my husbands birthday. Everything you need for a top class stay . Friendly and attentive staff lovely clean room a room refresh for second night .A good breakfast to set you up for a day's adventure! Swimming before supper to work up the appetite and gorgeous steam and sauna to rest those aching muscles from all of the site seeing. Perfectly situated hotel to make the most of everything that Bath has to offer. Will definitely go back for another stay !
I booked this hotel as a treat for my partner’s birthday and was pleasantly surprised! I was initially unsure whether it would be worth the money, but decided to risk it and I’m glad I did. I mentioned when booking that it was his birthday and we were given free drinks vouchers, a fruit tray with “Happy Birthday” written in chocolate and a handwritten sign. The room was immaculate and had some lovely extras, such as lavender pillow spray and popcorn! I would happily have stayed here the whole weekend! We were also allowed to check in 2 hours early as our room was ready which was a great surprise too.
Great hotel with great pool, steam and sauna. Remember to take a £1 for the locker and get a robe from reception before you go down to the spa and gym. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom very spacious
Gorgeous hotel, great location, good staff, lovely poor, very modern hotel. All round great experience and would definitely go back. Didn't find any fault to be honesty just a really good spot and great location
We stayed as a family 4 nights at the Ape and all was very pleasing as very clean rooms, gret pool, sauna and steam room and great breakfast of 3 choices. When we are visiting Bath again we will book this Hotel again.
Check in was very smooth although you could not check in until 1530hrs which is a bit late. 14hrs would be better. We had to sit in the bar for one hour before we could get our room. The health spa is very good. Swimming pool excellent and changing rooms very clean. Our room was great also very clean. But the bed was to hard so we had trouble sleeping so did not sleep in the bed I slept in the reclining chair in the room. Had a bath at 3am in the morning because I had trouble sleeping and then my wife could use the recliner. Staff were superb and very good. We will return but please get better beds. We were in room 333.
