The place is new and the rooms are spacious, lovely designed (a part from the toilet seat covering the flush button) and with high end finishes. Breakfast is lovely, with many options and the staff is very helpful and kind. The Spa facilities (sauna, steam, hydro pool, various kind of showers, gym) are also nice, easily accessible and well managed.

Booked in for our anniversary and loved the room. The extras were amazing in terms of the toiletries and the room was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future. We really really loved it.

Firstly when we arrived at the hotel we felt check in was very hostile and no warm greeting. Unfortunately our room was filthy which is our main priority at the moment with the covid pandemic. There were hand marks on the walls, make up stains and the tray with tea / coffee had not been cleaned. There was also hairs in the coffee cup and the towels had hair/ old tissue paper in them. It was absolutely appalling. We stayed for 2 nights and during that time Housekeeping did not replace our dirty coffee cups or glasses and did not replace the toiletries. We called reception and asked for these but we never received them. I have to say the facilities are fantastic especially the gym/ pool and sauna area and we were able to make use of this. However I feel the hotel is very expensive for what it is because of these facilities and without them it feels more like a travel lodge. When we informed reception of the filth in the room they simply said sorry, we left our number so the manager could call us but he never did.

Hotel was in a great location we stayed for two nights bed and breakfast to be honest if I knew wetherspoons was as close we probably would have gone there instead but the menu choices were great, the server on our second morning Sarah was fabulous so attentive the first morning we didn't get the toast that we asked for. It was my husbands birthday whilst we were there and the manager left a card and a drinks voucher which was a lovely gesture. We had a city double room which was plenty big enough for two and the shower was amazing! we didn't use the pool and spa as we had booked the therme spa but would if we were to stay again. The only complaint I have about the area and this completely out of the hotels control but the seagulls were so friggin loud! I'm not sure if they had a nest outside our room but the only hours they were quiet were between 11pm and 2am so three hours sleep wasn't the best, we went to boots and bought ear plugs for the second night so got some sleep that way.

Stayed here for 2 nights. We were given the option to upgrade which we did to a deluxe however i didn’t see it state anywhere that then because we upgraded we would have to have breakfast aswell. So was a shock to arrive and pay an extra £30. But to be fair the breakfast was lovely well worth it and it filled us up right until dinner time. My only gripe is that it seemed to be quite expensive for what you got. I mean we had a separate living space which was great and much needed and t,he room was lovely but for the price I would have expected a balcony and sky tv that you could actually get a variety of channels sky one didn’t even work. The staff were very attentive and the location of the hotel was perfect. Only downside was no parking and because of this fact we opted to get the train and the station was only a 10 min walk away.
