We stayed for two nights in the Lady Hamilton room. The location is fantastic. Not only is it in easy walking distance from the train station, but the Bath Abbey and Roman Baths are just a two minute walk away. Our room was on the ground floor close to the front entrance, overlooking the courtyard. The room was spacious, quiet,... More

We traveled by train from London Paddington and return to London Waterloo after three nights stay. We stayed in Lady Hamilton and our son stayed in Old Plane Tree. Also convenient for Madmax Tours, 2 minutes walk to meeting point.

In the heart of Bath, this inn is a little sweet retreat! A wonderful family run place, serving a yummy breakfast. The owners are warm and welcoming even when late guests arrive long after check-in time! (>.<) This is absolutely a place i want to come back to.

We stayed in the Jane Austen wing. The room was beautiful as was the view across the courtyard outside. The owner and staff were very friendly and the breakfast was almost entirely excellent except for the bread which was bog standard sliced stuff, a shame given the attention paid to some very tasty jams. Indeed with better bread I would... More

Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear you found the location and experience excellent. The bread you mention is made by our local bakery in Bath - we love to support local businesses. Is there an alternative bread we could supply from our local bakers that you would enjoy more? We would be very happy to experiment... More

There may be quite a few amazing places of accommodation in Bath, but I'll never know because I've stayed at the only one that matters. 3 Abbey Green is quiet and clean, and the owners are brilliant. The location is second to none just south of the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. The Crystal Palace pub is on the other... More

We had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights in June 2016. Had a chance to meet all the proprietors (such a stuffy word!), and all were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. I especially enjoyed Sue's extensive welcome to us after a long flight from continent and rainy welcome to Bath. She sat me down and gave me all... More

That is a brilliant review and it really made me laugh - I love the idea of being recalled from the pub by a lift of a sash window and a whistle!! Thank you for all your kind and positive comments. My day feels much sunnier now!! More

My rating involves tradeoffs. Our bed was an uncomfortable platform bed (no box springs). The WiFi did not work in our room (Sycamore) except in the bathroom which is down a short (in room) hallway. There is no lounge or sitting room where we could relax and use WiFi. On the other hand the breakfast was very good and the... More

Well, I admit to feeling a bit saddened by your review. Over the years we have had many positive comments about our beds. I have to tell you they are not platform beds, but what in Europe we call divans (you call them box springs). Also, we were never given the chance to investigate the wifi. The house does have... Stayed here for 3 nights in June 2016 in the Nelson Suite. Beautifully decorated with a seating area, 2 windows overlooking the green. The Owners Sue & Derrick were very accommodating with Derrick sharing with the history of the building and of Bath. Rooms very quiet, king bed very comfortable. There i no parking here but they sent directions and... More

I choose to stay at the Three Abbey Green Guesthouse as it is very well located in the quiet pedestrian only square of Abbey Green, just 3 mins walk to the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. It did not disappoint. Parking is difficult in Bath. The Three Abbey Green has a limited number of parking permits for guests who request... More

Three of us decided to see some of the west country and the Isles of Scilly, using Bath as our headquarters. We used Bath Private Car Service to take us from Heathrow to Bath and for the return trip to Heathrow. Two of us were in the delightful Asher Suite for seven nights and in the Elizabeth Bennett room in... More

Three Abbey Green is a Four Star Gold Award guest house, hidden away in a quiet cobbled square in the heart of central Bath. A stone's throw from the Abbey and Roman Baths, everything you could wish to see is on your doorstep. A leisurely walk to the Royal Crescent and King's Circus takes in an eclectic mix of boutique, independent and big-name shops, street performers and stunning Georgian architecture along the way. And when you get there, don't forget to visit the Assembly Rooms - ladies, no visit would be complete without trying on a corset and crinoline at the Fashion Museum. Whether you're here to relax at the Thermae Bath Spa, take in a little culture at the Theatre Royal, or shout yourself hoarse in support of your team at the Bath Rugby ground, Three Abbey Green is ideally situated for everything Bath has to offer.A Grade 2 listed building, parts of which date back to 1689, the main house has seven rooms (including two large suites ideal for families or groups), each with its own character and unique charm. Period features such as original fireplaces and wood panelled walls fit comfortably with tasteful contemporary furnishings. Greet the morning with an award winning breakfast, packed full of local produce. Don't worry if you have dietary needs - we can meet them all, given a little notice! As part of our commitment to expanding upon the service we currently provide, we are extending our award-winning bed and breakfast, Three Abbey Green, into the beautiful Georgian maisonette next door (which was once Four Abbey Green apartment). ... more   less
