This place is friendly and in the heart of Shrewsbury with restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Room was comfortable and pub serves meals and includes 2 meals for £10 offer. It has a small courtyard. Reasonably priced stay.

Easy to find, basic accommodation in the centre of Shrewsbury which looked lovely and needs a return visit. The Old Post Office offers clean and simple lodgings for those on a budget. The menu in the bar downstairs looked like typical pub grub at affordable prices although we went out to explore so I can't really comment. Private shower for... More

We stayed here overnight to visit the Severn Theatre which is just a short walk away. We were made very welcome upon our arrival and showed to our room. Its a bit of a maze and up some steep stairs - so not suitable for those with impaired mobility perhaps. We were not able to eat here on the Sunday... More

This is a fantastic little place where stopped for a drink and service and staff was wonderfull. It has rooms which you can have for a night and price includes breakfast and very reasonable. Only had drinks here but it has a charm about it that many people would love and right on the centre of town

We only chose to eat here as it was a very hot day and the only place we could find that had outdoor seating available, we know why now! It was probably one of the worst meals I've ever been served! I'm gluten free ( not by choice) and there wasn't much on the menu to choose from so I... More

It is of course a B and B not a hotel. There are 6 rooms and the one I had was a double with en suite. Access to the accommodation is via the courtyard and there are quite a few stairs tio negotiate- so if you have luggage be aware. The Old Post Office is in the middle of Shrewsbury... More

Lovely food and service, we sat in the courtyard and had lunch, I had barbecue chicken and my friend had fish & chips, both meals were delicious and off the 2 for £10 menu. Excellent value we ate every bit, well worth another visit soon.
