We only chose to eat here as it was a very hot day and the only place we could find that had outdoor seating available, we know why now! It was probably one of the worst meals I've ever been served! I'm gluten free ( not by choice) and there wasn't much on the menu to choose from so I... More

Very comfortable pub with rooms, staff very helpful and pleasant, good value food and drinks. We went for a cousins wedding stayed two nights, first night a Wednesday there was an excellent quiz place was full, they also do music at weekends which although we didn't see it looked good. Would recommend over group hotels for both price value and... More

It is of course a B and B not a hotel. There are 6 rooms and the one I had was a double with en suite. Access to the accommodation is via the courtyard and there are quite a few stairs tio negotiate- so if you have luggage be aware. The Old Post Office is in the middle of Shrewsbury... More

Lovely food and service, we sat in the courtyard and had lunch, I had barbecue chicken and my friend had fish & chips, both meals were delicious and off the 2 for £10 menu. Excellent value we ate every bit, well worth another visit soon.

I went to Shrewsbury with friends to visit the museum, we had a wander around the town looking for somewhere to eat and happened upon this little gem. The building is lovely, good service and the food was delicious! Will be visiting again on my next visit :)

A lovely traditional pub, simple menu but quirky and unique, no frills but excellent steak and Ale pie and great service! Great location in Shrewsbury and the staff were really friendly. Great value too, perfect if you fancy something comforting, homely and satisfying

The pub is lovely with a nice courtyard to drink outside. The room was nicely decorated and clean with a big TV and fairly comfy mattress. The breakfast was lovely. Only downsides were loads of stairs to the room, no parking at the hotel, flat pillows and the tiniest shower I have ever seen. Overall good value for money &... More

I thought the hotel was a little expensive based on the fact that there was no parking at all so I spent an extra 7.50 per day on that. The breakfast was just ok, lovely staff, very friendly. It's a bit dated....but ok.

I use this pub at least twice a month and I do like the atmosphere and staff, it's only down fall is it is a little bit expensive so that puts us off staying for more than one drink, They have great bands
