We visited here for lunch today Saturday 23rd July. Wow! The food is fantastic. I had a prawn salad, my son and daughter in law had Paninis, eldest granddaughter had the steak pie and chips and younger granddaughter had chips and we had 3 bowls of chips between us. Now I don't eat chips as a rule as nobody makes... More

Called in Saturday evening, pub was packed, good range of locally brewed real ales available and friendly service. Check out the medieval paintings on the walls inside and the ancient outside look of this historical pub.

I almost expected to walk in & see Bill Sykes & Fagan, with Nancy singing "Oom-Pah-Pah." This is... More

This pub is a disgrace the two people who worked there on Saturday 9th May either need to be sacked or go on a customer service training course immediatly. They have no customer skills and to say to customers after waiting patiently to be served after being completely ignored. I heard th woman say to the other bar staff a... More

We popped in on Friday and Saturday night and had a pleasant evening on both occasions. Friday night we were entertained by a talented girl singer who played piano without the usual karaoke backing tapes. A pity the pub was so sparsely populated. The pub was packed on Saturday when a full band played, with a singer who had a... More
