We stayed overnight on a quiet Monday evening and were welcomed by the friendly manager who showed us to our larger than average room. The decor downstairs was modern and tasteful, the rooms felt as if they'd had a partial update with some thought going into the wallpaper and soft furnishings. The bed was extremely comfortable, but I felt the... More

Warm welcome from staff who seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. Comfy room, great views. Lovely fresh, stylish public spaces. The restaurant delivers seriously good food with an interesting, mostly European wine list at realistic prices. Loved the details like handmade chocs with coffee. Thanks, guys, you're doing a great job.

Stayed for 3 nights and had a very nice room. Staff are very good friendly and helpful. We had dinner the first night; starter was good but too small. I'm coming to think starters are a waste of money generally just a con. I ordered the fillet steak well cooked but all the dish was luke warm. Why as we... More

I stayed for one night at this hotel, arriving on 27/6/2016. Many guests have left 5 stars reviews, this is another. Great welcome, great room, great dinner, dark sky, so good star gazing, extremely quiet. All components of the fried breakfast sourced locally and clearly chosen with great care. A charming short walk from the market square. Just trying to... More

We stayed in the Cottage Ensuite. It was spotless, bright and well maintained. We had all the facilities we required. I have travelled far and wide but without a doubt it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The bed linen was also crisp and bright. My wife and I were the occupants but there was also... We found this hotel, which actually advertises itself on the outside board as 'restaurant with rooms', on the Internet and we were certainly not disappointed! It's in a beautiful location, within walking distance of the historic, very attractive town of Ludlow and in fact, magnificent Ludlow Castle can be seem from the upper rooms. The hotel is clean and beautifully... More

Very friendly staff at The Cliffe, always ready and happy to help. within a 5 minute scenic walk from Ludlow centre. The food and wine was very nice. Suitable for all ages and very accommodating with children. Fairly priced and a good atmosphere for a family, couples or business meal. Highly recommended.

We used the hotel as a mid way rendezvous point, to meet up with friends who we hadn't seen for a couple of years. We met here at lunch time on the Saturday and stayed for just one night. The hotel and location are just perfect for staying in Ludlow. It's in a beautiful setting, located just a stone's throw... More

We are staying at the Cliffe Inn tonight and it's charming! Such great value too. Feels like "Jolly Old England"! Quaint old Manor Home brought gracefully into 21st century. Everything is immaculate and of a high quality and even though our room was probably servants rooms in days gone by , I don't feel cramped nor disappointed! I do feel... More
