Sun was cracking the flags as we rolled up to Bridge View.. We couldn't find anywhere to park because it has double yellow lines in front.. We pulled up in a lay by and called.. The phone was answered by a lovely lady who told us to park outside because there's 20 minutes grace.. Once we pulled we were greeted... More

This B&B is located on the road that run alongside the river and is set almost bang in-front of the famous bridge. The downside to this is that there is no parking attached to the B&B, so you have to park a 5-minute walk up the road where they have a private, locked-up car-park. We went past it to start... More

A lovely place to stay, very helpful staff, lots of little extra's in the room which was very clean and well presented. The breakfast menu was extensive and freshly cooked to a very high standard, Derby's cafe downstairs had a good atmosphere and served a varied menu and drinks, again to a very high standard. The bonus for myself was... More

We have just returned from an absolutely fantastic stay. From the moment we arrived outside the staff were there to help us take our luggage from the car where we were shown the Darby Suite. We were on the top floor overlooking the bridge, the room was outstanding shear luxury with a complimentary bar. We had our first meal downstairs in... More

Stayed here for the Bank Holiday weekend of August 26th to 28th 2016 A very well maintained and presented guest house. Rooms are beautifully clean, ensuite toilets and shower room, some rooms provide a lovely view of the Ironbridge itself ( you couldn't get much closer, amazing view ). Rooms are above Darby's 1779 which serves you your breakfast with... More

I love Ironbridge and when I was asked to do some work in Telford for a few day I grabbed the opportunity - stayed in a local pub the first night but it didn't quite meet expectations so booked into the Bridge View and wow what a difference. 2 small bottles of wine in the fridge, a piece of cake,... From check-in to departure the staff couldn't have done more if they'd tried. Our room was above the kitchen shop next door to the cafe. Our room was totally spotless and comfortable. 5ft Kingsize bed in a room with plenty of area to move about and sit. The bed was comfy and the decor was clean and elegant - space... More

Very friendly helpful people, very clean and tidy, and it is in a superb location, very well placed to visit everything in the area, and there is a lot to see nearby! I would think you would always need to book.

I stayed in the Furnace room for 3 nights on business. The room was lovely and while it didn't have a view as such, it was nice and bright and had lots of little extras that really made the difference. I arrived at the hotel after 6pm which usually would mean a self check-in (which is actually a lot less... More

We had a friendly welcome, despite turning up late. The room was spacious, clean and well decorated. The bed was comfy, and the double-ended bath had a view of the bridge! Breakfast was served in the delightful Darby's cafe, downstairs, and was tasty and plentiful with helpful, friendly staff. The room was right on the street, so we had an... More
