This place would massively appeal to some people but be repellent to others. Our room smelt old and damp, to honest the whole place does. there was a leak coming through the ceiling over a light bulb and the decor was tacky. Our friends stayed in a room above the pub, the band was on when we got in and... More

On the river in the birthplace of the British industrial revolution. Pretty outside and in Lounge bar is warm and welcoming.Furnishings are an eclectic mix The bedrooms are individual and different from the chain hotels. Nice experience

Called in here for Saturday lunch. Hubby ordered cod and chips, daughter burger and chips, son in law had scamp and I had the chicken baguette with sweet potato fries. All of our meals were hot and served by friendly staff. Decent price too. Would call again if in Woodbridge.

It's the first time we ha e visited Irombridge for over 40 years. It was sunny and we had a lovely walk along the River and a look in a few museums and shops, ending up the lunch, sitting outside at the Malthouse, with our dog. We ordered sunday lunches, which were reasonable priced and arrived within 15 minutes. There... More

Was shown to room which was a double (we had booked a family room double and single bed) I mentioned this and was told can put in z bed. Returned to reception the following day around lunchtime... Me and my son had cycled from Telford yesterday, and decided to stop here for a snack and drinks. We ordered off the 3 for £10 snacks menu and what a joke the portions were!! Not worth the money atall. Sour faced managers to say the least, totally unwelcoming, Others there also had problems with food, sending it back, and... More

We took the family for lunch having been to the ironbridge coracle regatta. As it was lunch we all settled for smallish meals, 3 baguettes, 1 nachos and 1 salmon salad. We waited an hour and 10 minutes and were only served approx 10 minutes after my husband reminded them of the order. The lady he reminded was curt stating... More

Stayed here for 4 nights over the Bank holiday weekend. Good sized bedroom with an Audrey Hepburn theme, but named the Red room. Comfy bed, large en suite/dressing room and tea/coffee making facilities. English style breakfast. As a licenced pub/restaurant as well as B&B there is both lighter bites and more substantial meals available. We ate there a couple of... More
