Stayed for 2 nights on a groupon deal.Hotel is in a lovely position by the river and short walk to the Ironbridge itself. Our room was clean and comfortable with ensuite bathroom as were all the public areas. Breakfast was plentiful and well laid out with hot and cold areas.We had evening meal on the first night which was excellent. Another massive plus for this hotel is the staff. Friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them . All in all a great place to stay. N.b. Blist Hill Victorian Village nearby is a great place to visit and their fish and chips are a must.

We loved this hotel. Wonderful character, ideal location, fabulous food and friendly staff. The hotel has a riverbank location just a 10 minute walk from Ironbridge with all the museums and shops close by.

What a wonderful hotel and restaurant. Situated in a peaceful leafy location just a few hundred yards from Ironbridge itself, next to the river Severn. We had a spacious room at a great price, overlooking the park .

The staff were very helpful and service was great. The room was clean and well appointed. Food in the restaurant was excellent at dinner and breakfast. The hotel is very well situated for exploring the area.

Great stay, would definitely return. All staff are attentive and freindly. Rooms have everything you would need on a short break. Location to museums, local attractions and high street is very central.

Our first room which was next to a lift and had a musty smell and disabled persons bathroom .. Offered alternative room which was very small and extractor fans outside window , also able to hear word for word from adjoining rooms . Unfortunately milk sachets curdled but was replaced and still had the same problem … Excellent service in bar and restaurant and food quality exceptional .

We had a very good two night stay at this completely redecorated excellent hotel, set in well kept gardens in a wonderful location at Ironbridge. Our room with a comfortable bed was beautifully warm in the recent cold weather. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, particular thanks to Roy. Delicious food at a reasonable price in the comfortable restaurant, with good buffet breakfast. We’d love to return, thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic deal on Groupon for £79 including breakfast and free bottle of House wine which was really nice . Firstly charming location , and secondly really clean well equipped hotel ..got to say the staff were super friendly ..super efficient and was nice to hear from the restaurant manager that he and the chef and other members of staff had been there 30 years plus ...and to be fair it showed that they had everything On point....we dined in the restaurant and again this was first class .. The room was well equipped with a comfy bed , pillows and spotlessly clean .. and the breakfast staff on duty were all super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back . I really cannot fault anything here ..well done to the whole team ,.and to best western..please congratulate the general manager for assembling an awesome team …

excellent hotel all-round. we stayed for 4 nights ,with a group of forty. the food was excellent and plentiful, with a decent selection, breakfast was very good with a good variety to choose from. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking around the very good museums in the iron bridge gorge.

Supportive and accommodating staff. We had Good food in the restaurant.. Convenient and attractive location near to ironbridge Gorge, and the tourist attractions there. There is a park which is just below the hotel grounds. Phone signal in our room was patchy. However, this was a good location. We recommend it.
