Our son booked us in for a meal here following his Graduation in Sheffield. It was a stone's throw of a drive from the University and in no time in the midst of the wonderful countryside. When we got there it was busy and buzzing yet in no time our starters had arrived. We began with a Prawn Cocktail which... More

We felt so welcomed by the staff even though they was 10 of us that didnt faze them at all. We decided to have lunch and the food was spot on and so tasty. Atmosphere was very chilling and so relaxing. We had stopped off at another pub first but did not feel comfortable so we decided to move on... More

Lovely hotel in a brilliant location. Excellent room with lovely views. Staff were all brilliant and very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking available. Ideal for walkers and bikers and just anyone who wants a quiet break. Will definitely be back!

Went to the Norfolk arms for Sunday lunch today waited 40 minutes for food which was understandable it was busy as it was such a lovely day to be out in the countryside. When the food arrived the trio of bangers and mash that I ordered which is a little deceiving as I though it would be a variety of... More

We visited last weekend with my brother and his family. They live locally and go fairly often particularly as the pub actively welcomes coeliacs- his 2 kids are both diagnosed with this. The restaurant was extremely busy as it was Sunday lunch time and there seemed to be a lot of passing trade, people out for walks etc. We were... More

We stayed 3 nights, room only, as we were overspill for a family celebration and their house was full. The room was cosy, bed OK and decent sized bath. Staff were very friendly. Didn't have any meals there but breakfast always smelled lovely on the way out...good setting on the edge of the peak district, although the Bents Green residential... More

Visited with a friend. Stopped in on route during walk and booked a table for 2 hours later. Upon arrival we were told there was a wait of 40 minutes for food due to an event in the marquee (surely they knew this when we booked). The food was beautiful! Ploughman's salad and lasagne. Can not fault it. Sadly the... More

My niece held her wedding here in July and we took over the Hotel accommodation. With fabulous views and friendly and helpful staff, the whole event was really special and was a fantastic place to hold a wedding. The children loved playing in the grounds with the games that had been left about and adults were able to sit and... More

Went for Sunday lunch today with another couple. Food was lovely, also having an extensive gluten free menu for one of our party, and the staff were very friendly and cheerful even though they were run off their feet. Our first trip to the Norfork Arms was only spoilt by the amount of dogs in the restaurant. We are all... More

Stayed for one Saturday night in July. We were assigned a room with a fabulous view of the Yorkshire countryside. Room had a desk and chair, a double wardrobe and a comfortable double bed plus bed side tables. Bathroom was rather small but for a short stay that's not an issue. Excellent breakfast - cooked to order.
