Me and my husband had stayed over at cubley hall before and enjoyed the experience so wanted a repeat nice stay. It was!! The staff were friendly and welcoming as before and we had a lovely room with a stunning view of the countryside. The bar has a lovely buzz and is very popular for tea time meals. We had... More

The hotel was very nice, with friendly staff and clean spacious room. We ate in the restaurant and the food was of a good standard - there was lots of it! The breakfast was pleasant and again their was lots of it. The garden was very pretty and has great views across rolling countryside.

This is a very dated B&B which could and should be wonderful The outside grounds are lovely as is the view. But sadly that is where it all ends. How dare they say on their website and I quote " these rooms are very comfortable and have immaculate bathrooms." That is an absolute lie. The rooms are not at all... More

We booked our wedding over a year and a half ago. As soon as we visited we fell in love with Cubley Hall, great feel, stunning barn and gorgeous views and grounds. Sandra the wedding coordinator has been an absolute dream to work with, we booked back in Oct 2014 and we have been in touch the whole time planning... More

Went today for a meal with my kids wife mother and grandparents. The draft cider we ordered was almost flat the food was edible but to be honest I've eaten better food in big chain pubs at a fraction of the cost. This place has a lot of potential the area is ripe with amazing seasonal locally sourced ingredidents and... More

Lovely location. Staff friendly and very helpful. No marked disabled parking spaces. On arrival could see great views. A very friendly welcome from staff. Only a small hotel with no lift. If disabled I would strongly recommend ringing before booking to ensure the hotel can meet your needs. Staff will do as much as they can to meet your needs.... More

We visited Cubley Hall for one night. On arrival we found our toilet in the room dirty. The staff duly apologised and moved us, but we were asked to move asap when we were just about to order a meal. Our room was ok but very small and the floor boards above us were very squeaky. The next morning we... More

Stayed here for a friend's wedding anniversary party which was lovely. Although the function room (The Barn) was pretty basic it's been trimmed up with fairy lights & the band/music was great. The carvery sandwiches (ham or beef) were really tasty. The hotel is in a lovely location & it's a nice building with some gorgeous stained glass doors &... More
