This period building is only a 20 minute drive from Barnsley and with great views of the Pennines it makes a lovely venue for a wedding. There is a bandstand in the grounds so there are plenty of photo opportunities. The food for the wedding was beautiful and all staff were friendly and helpful, the bar had a reasonable range... We were attending a wedding at Cubley Hall and were also staying for the night. The hotel is small and cosy and the rooms are nice. Our room had an excellent view over the gardens. The wedding itself was perfect. There were plenty of staff who all seemed happy and were pleasant and the planner had thing running really smoothly.... More

Enjoyed a lovely meal sat outside Cubley Hall in their gardens. The car park is a great size and well presented. The first impression is of a stately stone building with great views and large gardens with lots of tables for outdoor eating. Internally this is a lovely venue with spacious seating in multiple areas plus a conservatory eating area... More

The hotel was very nice, with friendly staff and clean spacious room. We ate in the restaurant and the food was of a good standard - there was lots of it! The breakfast was pleasant and again their was lots of it. The garden was very pretty and has great views across rolling countryside.

This is a very dated B&B which could and should be wonderful The outside grounds are lovely as is the view. But sadly that is where it all ends. How dare they say on their website and I quote " these rooms are very comfortable and have immaculate bathrooms." That is an absolute lie. The rooms are not at all... More

We booked our wedding over a year and a half ago. As soon as we visited we fell in love with Cubley Hall, great feel, stunning barn and gorgeous views and grounds. Sandra the wedding coordinator has been an absolute dream to work with, we booked back in Oct 2014 and we have been in touch the whole time planning... More
