Was very happy with the size of the apartment we had. Extremely big living room. For the most part it was very nice. Staff and service were quite good. The only problem was that the dimmer switch in the bedroom wasn't working properly, causing the spot lighting in the bedroom to flash sometimes.

We love this quirky, romantic hotel, and don't mind paying for it, food is always excellent!! Lots of choice for veggies, free range locally source, all great. The service is not good, nobody seems trained, our room cleaner reeked of BO, room services were erratic, sometimes well done, sometimes half done, sometimes not done. The curtains in the room are...

Stayed for one night while waiting on my daughter to have a baby. I arrived ahead of my husband by train. The hotel is very convenient for train station. I was warmly greeted by the lady who checked me in and as I had arrived slightly early offered me an upgraded room, turned out to be a suite which was...

However, to keep it the best...

A very last minute decision to have a nice night away and meal with my partner brought us to The Forbury, which I had seen before when working in Reading. Despite the fact that our room wasn't in the main hotel (which were full), but was rather a full suite/apartment in the attached annex, it was a wonderful stay. The...

Stayed on a - Sunday night as a overnight. I arrived late against my plan so delighted that the check-in process was very efficient and simple. Valet Parking made this all the easier. Getting to the room on the first floor allowed a little time to admire the beautifully appointed public rooms. Everything was clean and well cared for. Lift...
