This is our 3rd year at the crescent and won't be the last.ali and Nermin the owners are the nicest and kind people you will ever meet. Cannot fault it. Bbq night and boat trip they arrange are a must. All rooms are lovely. Beautiful gardens and pool.

Worst hotel I have stayed in for a long time! Complete rip off room was very dated and the outside and inside is in desperate need of a re-vamp! Do not stay in this hotel !!! Oh and for the record, I did not eat here for reasons that are self explanatory on the visit!

We had a very nice welcome by the owner who was very helpful and helped with our bags. The room was clean, bright and large. No bad smells. The en-suite was new and very well done. The rest of the hotel was a bit run down. The full English breakfast was fine except for the sausage which was cheap. It... More

The position of hotel is good, it is very close to city center and also staffs are very helpful and friendly. But the physical conditions of hotel are not enough... Especially toilets are very very small and hotel is a little cold...

Having arranged a DJ gig in Reading, and given the fact that the first train to London left rather late as it was a Sunday, I decided to book a room at Crescent Hotel for my night stay, taking into consideration the low booking price with comparison to the lot in and around the city. The room was just OK,... More

What can I say... think of Fawlty Towers?? I would say the family who own this needs to plough a bit of money into re-vamping it, might seem harsh, but stop 'playing' at owning a hotel. We stayed for two nights during the RWC 2015. The main reason we chose this hotel was because it had its own carpark, which... More

We stayed here one night because there was a mistake with another booking, and this place was actually more expensive than the better place we eventually went to, we were charged 110£ for the crescent hotel. They had remodeled the bathroom but the water leaked out of the shower, the beds were so old that we could feel the springs,... More

I booked this hotel for my husband and his colleague, for a one night stop over whilst in work. I booked it through booking.com, and for the first and last time forgot to read reviews! The night before they left they was looking up the address and came across the reviews. As you can imagine they was horrified, and soon... More
