Yes , you get the ticket from reception at the hotel . Don't recall what it cost though , but less than full price .

The Mercure George has a special rate with Queens Road Car Park. The Rate is £6.50 for 24 hours. You go into the car park as normal and get another ticket from the hotel which gives you the rate on departure. Regards Stuart Hall General Manager

The Mercure George does not have a car park. Queens Road car park is siuated less than 5 mins walk and has a special rate of £6.00 for 24 hours Regards Stuart Hall General Manager
