As expected really! The room was tiny and there was no space to move at all. Location was handy for the train station and there were a few places to eat nearby. There didn’t seem to be a lift so could be difficult with heavy luggage. The room was clean enough and had the basics, although the shower flooded into the bedroom. Hairdryer available to borrow from reception. Fine for a one night stay, especially for such a low price.
Nice, clean and comfortable room for someone to stay. It could provide a table and a chair. The facility has immediate access to Reading station and the town centre. The staff was helpful and especially Angelika was really nice, friendly, caring and eager to help anytime someone needs that. I would recommend easyhotel in Reading to anyone looking for a temporary accommodation in a highly accessible location and enjoys walks along the river Thames.
I have stayed There 3 times and every time I have stayed in a internal room as that is all they say they have left . Each time I have stayed I get a burning and scratching feeling and then wen I shower it goes but wen I leave the hotel as staff are excellent and don’t want any one in trouble but to get to the horrible point as I travel a lot I got a rash on all 3 occasions over the last 5 years and My Gp has said look on Google and I am knot the only one . I have a chemical reaction from who they sublet there bed lining to of as they say could be Bed Mites / My hole face and cheek of face both sides and Neck have been bitten / so the chemical hasn’t been ruled out but bed Mites are 100% true the chemicals of the Blotches all over My face and poker dots are mites the burning sensation is the strong chemical is to hide it . Watch this Space I’m Knot one to complain as trip adviser know I’m honest in what I say . If any one has had any symptoms like mine please speak out . Pjt…
The room was tiny but nice. It makes you laugh how they've fitted everything you need in to one room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had my stuff with me and that was not a problem at all. Angelica, I think that's her name, was very friendly and helpful and made my stay very pleasant so I stayed an extra night. Everything you need is just across the road.
Tiny room with no opening window. Lack of fire signs in corridor, so it would be very risky if there was smoke. I don't like the bathroom arrangements as no privacy and just a screen. It is really poor design. The room was very hot in the night. It was ok for one night but I would not repeat my visit. Staff are nice and the vending machine is handy.
Clean rooms with a comfy bed, good shower and air con. Convenient location for quick access to the city centre. The staff are fantastic! Always very friendly and happy to help. Thanks Angelika and Frank :)
Bed is rock solid with two thin insubstantial pillows. There is barely enough space to get out of one side of the bed or round the foot of it to the point where I would have concerns over fire safety. There is not a single flat surface in the room to set clothes or bags on bar the floor and a 3" x 3" shelf either side of the bed, not even enough for a book. The decor is peeling, the blinds barely cover the window. The air conditioning needs the filter cleaning after a single night my eyes and nose were irritated by the air. There is an odd smell in the building, like stale smoke but it may be the air con filter. The walls are very thin so noise carries throughout. The staff were very friendly and accomodating and the free hot and filtered water in the lobby somewhat makes up for the lack of tea and coffee making faciliies in the room. The bathroom was clean although the complimentary toiletries were empty. The parking area is small but spaces are well marked and lit.…
Bedroom - without window - was allocated to my booking, but not an issue because I close this Budget hotel for my overnight stay in Reading, at least about 5 minutes' walk to Reading rail station. The area surrounding the hotel - not bad, a little rough but absolutely no harm. I will definitely come back - if I really need to stay in Reading.
Booked this last minute for the festival for me and my 15 yr old daughter - the location was perfect 10 minute walk from train station and 10 minute walk from the festival although the price was tripled for the festival weekend £160 a night very steep for what you got however having seen the camp sites and facilities at the festival the hotel was the better option ! The room was tiny however for the little time we spent there it served a purpose for a clean bed and shower. Staff were lovely and very helpful I would definitely stay here again should I re attend the festival
A nice clean hotel but the room was very small but very clean :) The only problem with the room was the USB charger wasn't working that was the only problem of room. The only problem my wife found was the bed pillow was too low.
