We were really pleased with our stay, and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Very comfy bed and a well kept room. Great food and drink and the service from the staff was great as well. Will definitely return when next visiting the area.

We would like to thank Derek and his team for making our stay a memorable one. The rooms and beddings were very comfortable and clean. The reasons we only gave 4 stars rating are : hot water supply is intermittent, we did not managed to work the kettle and the road trafic noises . Our party were made very welcome...

My daughter and I stayed for three nights, very comfortable good quality accommodation in a purpose built block built in Cotswold Stone adjacent to the inn. Very good food was served, satisfying breakfast and a good choice of menu for the evening meal. We ate there every night! Very friendly helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. About a mile...

We had an overnight stay here - it was ok. Rooms are motel style in a block behind the pub. It is on a very busy main road, a couple of miles outside Woodstock. Full English breakfast was good however the waitress was very hasty and took my plate before I had chance to eat the last mouthful! Folk night...

Had a great afternoon tea here on Tuesday, a very friendly and warm welcome from Derek made the experience excellent. All freshly made and baked, they were also happy to box left overs as the cakes were so big Certainly recommend

During are two Night stay in the luxurious surroundings of wood stock, we were welcomed in to the duke of Marlborough as long lost family members reunited. The pleasant ambiance of warm wood lit fires and the quaint cottage decor, is only shadowed by the superb front of house skills of Helen and Britney. The Servises of especially Helen were...

Great 2 days away. The pub and room were spotless with great service and facilities. Breakfast was great and evening meals were lovely with plenty of choice for adults and children. Great value for money and easy striking distance of picturesque Oxfordshire villages and Oxford itself. We will be back. Thank you.

Had a lovely short break, within easy reach of the beautiful surrounding villages. Food (breakfast in particular) was great and the service was very attentive. Room was a nice size and very quiet. We were fortunate to have stayed when the folk night was on which we really enjoyed. If we had to pick one small thing, it would be...
