Staff helpful on arrival .good location for a stroll in to Oxford. Value for money breakfast .Nice for a drink in bar on a summer evening but drinks a bit on pricey side. Has own car park so that was a bonus . Easy to find on main road in to Oxford. Lots of buses in to city if you... More

I visit Oxford regularly, sometimes for business sometimes for pleasure and the Cotswold Lodge Hotel is attractive because it has that rare thing in Oxford, parking. The area is interesting, the restaurants of Jericho are a short walk away and the many of the sights of Oxford can be reached in about 15 minutes walk. However, soundproofing has always been... We were in Oxford for graduation events at Lady Margaret Hall and the Sheldonian Thatre. Coswold Lodge is ideally situated with just a short walk to downtown, so we parked the car for the duration of our stay. The hotel is friendly and quite stylish. The rooms are nice and clean and the neighbourhood is quiet. There are some very... More

wonderful old building (but with no lift and with not very willing to help with the luggage people) average breakfast, very nice patio where you are allowed to smoke, and 15 min nice walk to city center.

We were there for our sons wedding and had 2 rooms booked for 4 nights. Very convenient to city centre - 10 minute walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the hotel was excellent. The reception was in the hotel and the food was excellent - but the fish was superb. From the food point of view... More

Traditional yet comfortable, very clean and in a good location, away from the crowds but close to the centre. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Located on a street with loads of green and trees and close to a beautiful park.

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We arrived an hour early but our room was already prepared, so we were able to move straight in. The hotel is ideally placed for both walking into the City, and also the city bus tour (the bus stop is just across the road). It is a good idea to stay on the... More

We came here last week for a family wedding. We had booked two nights but on arrival were told we had only booked one. We had email evidence but the attitude of front of house staff was a little dismissive. We went for a walk and fortunately it was sorted out a few hours later. Our room was comfortable but... More

The room was so small that there was essentially no desk space. The back of the chair in front of the desktop size space reached the bed, so that it was essentially impossible to get into the chair without climbing over it. Overall, the staff was nice but not especially accommodating for an early arrival (no effort was made to... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are sorry we were unable to accommodate your early arrival on the day. We would suggest perhaps you would prefer one of our Oxford King rooms or Feature rooms for more floor space on your next visit. More

The Norham Suite is the ideal venue for business meetings, private dining functions and special events such as weddings, birthdays and parties.
