Visitors are assured of a warm welcome and a highly professional level of service, whether they are popping in for a coffee, meeting someone for lunch, staying at the hotel or hosting an event. The elegant Victorian building combines period features such as bay windows, high ceilings and open fireplaces with all the facilities required by today’s business and leisure travellers, including secure wireless broadband internet access. All our guest rooms offer a good level of comfort and privacy. Our ten feature rooms are named after Oxford colleges and retain the distinctive architectural features of the original building. I have stayed on several occasions when I come to Oxford to study. The hotel is spotlessly clean, all the staff comply with the guidelines on Covid. They couldn’t be more helpful. Great location to walk into the city.

Cannot fault this hotel. Very clean , quiet chilled and comfortable , staff very nice. Covid prepared hand sanitizer everywhere. Room was lovely and clean only fault was there was no magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Forgot to bring my own which was my fault. Short walking distance in to Oxford town centre and it is a lovely area. Very busy and bustling. University buildings are beautiful. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very nice, facilities are good and rooms are comfortable, but the best asset is the crew. They go to the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable. I do appreciate that they always try to help.

Hotel was really well located - parked the car until we left and walked everywhere! Room on the ground floor was ok but tired - in need of refurbishment and the bathroom was uninviting - chips and mould which was so disappointing. The bed was comfortable but pillows were the worst ever and as such we didn’t sleep well at all. Didn’t have breakfast as at 17.50 a head we thought overpriced. We had amazing breakfasts in town for less than 20.00 for two! For the price I expected more. The staff were amazing, friendly, and so so helpful. Bar was nice but cold we asked for heaters. Would I stay again? For the parking, location and people yes, for the room no.

Stopped at the Cotswold Lodge as part of our recent road trip, and it was definitely one of the better hotels we stayed at along the way. It has it's own private car park, which, which can't be said for many of the other hotels so close to the town centre (just a 15 min walk away), safety procedures were excellent, room was nice and clean, breakfast was very good with several options, and there was a hop on hop off bus stop literally across the road from the hotel, perfect for sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Oxford.
