Quiet location within walking distance of the city; good restaurants 10 minutes walking distance. Hop on hop off bus stop just across the road. Lovely rooms, excellent breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable lounge.

Firstly,I want to appreciate the service of the hotel, because I could not check in as planned, I sent email to them to see if I could postpone one day later,I was so happy that they could postpone for me, and for free,I didn't need to pay extra money for that. Second, the hotel is good and convenient, it's near... More

Great hotel. Friendly staff and very nice and clean rooms. I was traveling for a congress meeting and therefore I was looking for a nice place with good internet services. Very quite area, so very good to rest and not being disturbed by traffic or public noise. Wireless connection was outstanding in all areas of the hotel.

Very nice hotel, mixing the traditional and the modern. It is ideally situated in the leafy north of Oxford within walking distance of the centre. It benefits from free parking which is really good as it is so difficult and expensive to park in Oxford. We had a king size room with a very comfortable bed. We had a modern... More

Really enjoyed out one night stay last weekend. We had requested a ground floor room, it was small, but perfectly formed! Both bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the staff helpful and cheerful. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We found our hotel room to be clean and comfortable, and the hotel is very well placed for an Oxford visit. Having a car park is also very helpful in this city! The staff were very helpful and provided a good, friendly service. We would not hesitate to return.

Decent B&B, nothing exceptional. Rooms were OK, clean, basic - only real drawback was the slightly updated 19th century plumbing. Bar was intermittently staffed, hard to get served. Breakfast was very good, service OK in general. Nothing special, just OK.

The hotel was tired and in need of updating. The staff were pleasant and very helpful but there seemed no senior management around at the important times and if they were around they kept themselves invisible. The dinner was adequate but the two breakfasts were terrible. Kippers swimming in butter, very fatty smoked salmon, vegetarian breakfasts of rubbery sausages and... More

Me and my partner often have weekends away and this time, we thought we would visit Oxford. My partner looked online and this hotel showed nice, spacious rooms so he booked one. When we arrived, we were shocked and disappointed to be given a dim, small room in the 'annex'. The whole room couldn't have been no bigger than 8... More
