My family and I used the hotel for the night before my wedding in Oxford. Being a former student of the university I knew the area well and Cotswolds Lodge is in a perfect area only a 10-15 mins walk from the centre and a reasonable price considering how well situated it is and the quality of the hotel. The... More

Normally expensive (well what decent accommodation isn't in Oxford ?!) but I got a deal and was pleased to have chosen to stay here. Lovely location on the Banbury road. Comfortable bed and nice room. Delicious breakfast (very good quality sausage and bacon) in a nice setting. One minor gripe was that my wife's mum's bathroom bin hadn't been emptied... More

Well kept. Staff very good. Relatively expense - guess thats the time of the year. Breakfast pretty standard stuff but ok. Well located from the centre of town within walking distance. Good restaurants with walking distance.

Stayed two nights at this lovely hotel. Great location, you could walk into City centre. Nice clean comfortable hotel. Breakfast was very nice and the staff professional and friendly. Couple of local pubs close by serving food if you did not want to eat at hotel.

Having driven up from the Algarve and broken our journey in Salamanca we stayed in one of our all time favourite places namely Hotel Rector - there for £180.00 we stayed in a beautifully furnished modern room with air conditioning and enjoyed an excellent breakfast in the morning before being waved on our way with our windscreen cleaned and 2... My family and I had a delicious lunch and drinks at the Cotswold Lodge hotel following my sisters graduation ceremony in the Sheldonian. A variety of food from the bar menu was selected which included fish finger sandwiches, bacon, Brie and cranberry toasted sandwiches, BLT's and a whopping portion of loaded nachos. All food was well presented and was devoured... More

Generally looked tired. The room was noisy, bed was too soft, cracked florr tiles and there was a small of cigarette smoke. Good location close to the city centre and ample car parking. Very nice bar area and good service.

Nice building and competent staff. Good value and not too far from the town centre. Rooms need a refurb but overall it does what it says on the box and at a good price too. Checkin could be earlier (3pm currently) and the rooms could do with proper ac.
