Did not go well from the start, booked for £70 and got charged £96 by the staff who could not find the booking. Gave up arguing with them and paid. The place is filthy with stained carpets on the stairs, halls and landings. The windows are filthy, the room was very outdated, the carpet in the room was very stained.... More

The noise from the night club was so loud it was impossible to sleep consequently we did not use the room i.e. slept on a friends sofa! Not only could you hear the music you could also clearly hear people shouting over the music. There is no reception so we complained to the bar staff the next day. They told... More

The place is a joke. After a troublesome check in where the staff tried to bill is again despite the room already was paid in full through Agoda we finally got a room with a small private bathroom as was stated in our confirmation. When we got back to the place after dinner the staff had just switched rooms without... More

Good position but nothing else can be said for this place. Tatty decor in what is a pub with a few rooms. Had to share a shower/toilet room. Wouldn't mind....but at £105 for one night and that's room only it was dreadful. I wanted to Brexit this Euro very quickly.

We never stayed here so we can't comment on the rooms and didn't eat here so can't comment on the food but we found the staff friendly and the pub itself is spaced out well with lots of screens for the football. We liked it and returned on our way home before catching the bus.

Not the best place to be for a business trip noise from the bar downstairs is dreadful. TV doesn't work nor do the bedside lights. Bathroom has been updated but the shower is hand hold only! Certainly not worth the price even if centrally located.

I simply do not have words to describe this place. It is the most hideous accommodation that I have EVER stayed in. The room was accessed via the gents toilets....the smell of stale urine follows you up the stairs, (filthy stained carpets all the way). The room was full of broken, dirty yellowing furniture which fell apart with drawers stuffed... More

This was an average stay, I expected that being the cheapest in central oxford it wasnt going to be the best. There is some false advertising on their site and in the booking confirmation email. There isnt a 24 hour reception or a luggage room. You check in at the bar (which when we went was very noisey) and if... More

The reviews are true this place is the pits!! It's dirty, smelly , noisy, did I mention DIRTY!! Do not stay here , there are cleaner & safer park benches if your desperate. My room stank of onions and the woman in the next room was very vocal about how much she was enjoying whatever the guy in there was... More
