Stayed for one night - clean, good service, comfortable beds. A good choice. The breakfast was excellent with hot and cold options - all beautifully presented. The staff are attentive and friendly. Access to Oxford is 5-10 mins via a bus a minute's walk from the hotel. Better service than the taxi we used. All in all highly recommended.

We stayed in a kingside room on Wednesday night after the local hospital had no beds. The staff were amazing and the attention to detail in every manner at this hotel was exceptional. All facilities, decor, food and service is excellent. Don't look any further, stay here !

We had a very enjoyable stay with a nice room, great breakfast and excellent service. The room and bathroom were nicely furnished, clean and quiet. Ness (the owner) gave us a warm and professional welcome, helped us book a couple of very good restaurants he recommended, and managed to make you feel at home whilst serving a delicious breakfast. Excellent... More

Stayed 3 nights as part of my 60th birthday celebrations. We received a warm welcome on arrival . Our room ( Queen room) was perfect - clean and cosy. Breakfasts were super, especially the home made bread which was gorgeous! Perfect location for getting into Oxford - plenty of number 2 buses going up and down the road every few... More

The location is excellent; being just a short bus ride or a 40 minute walk into the city centre. This was our second stay and we were there for two nights. Unfortunately the heating in our room was not functioning - all radiators were cold and so bathroom towels remained damp and we were uncomfortably cold during the first night.... More

Spent a long weekend here. Monday morning down for breakfast - book in room said last orders 8.45, notice on room door indicted 9am. Went down for breakfast at 8.40. Chef eating his breakfast and we told that breakfast finished at 8.30. We did have cereal and toast, but no cooked breakfast. Would have expected a little leeway here, particularly... More

We received a very warm welcome at the Burlington House. The room was luxurious and extremely comfortable. A very tasty breakfast was served in a non formal very relaxing breakfast room. If you stay here you are in the perfect position to walk into Summertown, we enjoyed the farmers market on Sunday morning, or you're just a short drive from... More

Well, what can I say? I am the owner of 10 hospitality properties in Melbourne Australia and my stay at Burlington was beyond belief. The rooms and, more importantly the beds, were extra comfortable with the pillows a delight to place you head on. Breakfast and the amazing attention of the staff, I daresay owners, were beyond belief with nothing... More

Stayed here 2 nights and was nit dusappointed. The 2 guys running are professional, yet very friendly. Can be a bit noisy from the traffic, but triple glazing helps. Room was well furnished, comfy, but squeeky bed. Fab shower, great use of a small space. Only criticism was some damage to walls that could easily be treated, making parts look... More
