We booked on Sunday the restaurant for lunch. On arrival there was no booking! But they manage to find us a table for 6. Food and service was ok standard. Nothing to write home about. Would we go back to eat..no. Lacks soul and character. Probably one up from a Premier Inn. Parking good. Close to get into Oxford Centre... More

We came to Oxford for a midweek break and chose this hotel mainly for its location. It's very easy to get into the city centre, either on foot or by bus and you can walk in along the Thames on fine days. Parking isn't a problem. Our room was very comfortable, not as modern as the public areas but clean... More

You have to chose average to very good, this hotel is in between as good. It is easy to find and a 15 minute walk into the city centre. There is free parking and several bus routes pass on the way into the centre. I was able to partly check-in early and reception service was quick on check -in (note... More

We've just been here on a Saturday-night special £158 for Dinner B&B with wine at dinner through an advert in a national newspaper. The hotel is well situated with an easy stroll along the Thames into the City of Oxford. Facilities are as you would expect from Four Pillars - clean, well appointed rooms which are comfortable and warm. Reception... More

Ideal location for business trip to Oxford. Easy access from the M4 and under 10 minutes to the centre of Oxford in rush hour traffic. We were given recently refurbished attic rooms, not much headroom but perfectly acceptable for our one night stay. We enjoyed a high quality evening meal and a cooked breakfast that set us up for the... More

I stayed here for two nights on business. The welcome was polite and efficient and my room was large and well furnished with a good sized bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable. I ate in the restaurant and the food was reasonably good. My food allergies were dealt with well by the helpful staff. I had continental breakfast brought... More

Ok place for a business trip. The wifi is terribly slow everywhere (meeting rooms, bar/restaurant or bedrooms). The meeting rooms are large and comfortable. Food is brasserie style and average. Good beds.

The rooms are fit for purpose although are a little dated. The shower is underpowered and took a long time for the hot water to start coming through. There was also only two 3 point sockets in the room which were on the far side of the room from the bed which made charging phones and laptops inconvenient. The general... More
