We had a lovely room with various treats such as sweets, chocolates and homemade cookies. The staff were very friendly and provided us with a welcome tray of tea, coffee and cake etc when we arrived. Breakfast was great with a good range of options. Easy bus into the city if a quick taxi ride.

I stayed at Tilbury Lodge just for one night, and really had a lovely experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were quiet, clean and well presented. The location was not fantastic but ok, I did struggle finding somewhere to eat close by on foot. However the city centre is only a bus ride away!... More

Our room was well presented, clean & comfortable for a good nights sleep. We were welcomed with a pleasant smile then tea and treats on arrival, plus extras in our room. Stefan's breakfast was lovely and was happy to cater for my coeliac wife. Being in a quiet location just outside the town centre, allowed us to park our car... More

Thank you Stefan and team for a lovely and memorable weekend, very quiet location, lovely rooms and great food. Only slight problem - the overhead shower was too big for the water flow - so showering took a while! Perhaps during your quiet period Stefan you could put in a standard shower head? Otherwise perfect, highly recommended. Also helped that... More

The breakfast is sublime! Stefan and Melanie were so accommodating and helpful. The rooms are spotless and comfortable - big brass bed. Lots of little unexpected treats and pampering (foot spa) surprised and delighted us. The best value B&B I have ever stayed at.

We felt very fortunate to have found this bed and breakfast in Oxford. The rooms were big and well taken care of. The bathroom in your unit is large and modern. The staff was friendly and helped us find our way around Oxford. The breakfast was wonderful and there is a pretty yard at the back to relax in. Quiet... More

We stayed for 2 nights in Room 7 with the king bed. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet and spacious with a comfortable bed and a view of the garden. As others have said, there are bus stops nearby and it isn't that long a walk into Oxford. We rented a car for a day and the Enterprise rental agency... More

We stayed in room 7 with nice views of the garden, it was spacious, clean and well equipped. As others have said the little treats from Stefan and the all round atmosphere make for a lovely stay. Make sure you have breakfast in the conservatory. Stefan is knowledgeable and nhas some good tips on where to visit etc. The B&B... More

This B&B is run by people who really care about their guests and their comfort. On arrival we were surprised with a lovely afternoon tea - all baking homemade. The superior king room was very comfortable, spotless and airy, but what elevated this B&B was the excellent breakfast provided. High quality produce was used with homemade preserves and cereals galore.... More
