We stayed two nights in Oxford, the start if our 10 day trip. We were really pleAsed with our room hi how was very cosy and welcoming. Room was spotless and loved the 'little' extras such as the bottled water and biscuits. Breakfast was delicious and hot breakfast was made to order. After reading many of the reviews prior to... We stayed at Parklands recently as we were attending my younger sisters graduation at the nearby Sheldonian Theatre. Parklands was recommended to us by a family member who has stayed here on numerous occasions and highlighly complimented the accommodation provided. The siting of the B&B was ideal as it was in close proximity to both Wolfson College and the city... More

Twin room at top was very hot. OK if you like it hot! Seems rather expensive but this may be related to demand as it was when Country File Live was on, which was why we were there. Breakfast service and food was excellent but main reception was uninviting.

Will definitely stay here next time I am in Oxford. Easy parking, warm welcome, clean fresh room well stocked with tea. Stairs to keep us fit and a very pleasant stroll into central Oxford (and Bus back!). Very good breakfast. Thank you!

This is a very nice boutique hotel. Quiet and quaint. The cooked breakfast was really good. The staff was very helpful and it seemed to be a very well managed establishment. I enjoyed my stay there. Notes: There are three floors and no lift. The walk into Oxford City Center was just under half an hour.

Have stayed here several times over a 4 year period. Very good rooms in a beautiful building. Great breakfast. Located in a lovely part of Oxford and close to a bus stop for easy access to downtown Oxford. Also easy walk to downtown. Very helpful staff. Good parking on site. Hard to beat for price.

We stayed here for one night in July. We had booked 5 months before and requested a first floor room as my wife has an arthritic hip and there is no lift. However, on arrival, we were given a small attic room on the 2nd floor. On querying this, our hostess said that they can only see special requests made... More

We stayed for two nights on route to a family gathering in Stratford , what a gem, beautiful building, bright, and clean. We stayed in the superior room with very large wooden sleigh bed,on the second night there was a power cut leaving half the house with no electrics, Alison who lives on site couldn't do enough, we sat on... Just spent a few days at Parklands and would recommend it highly. There is a surprisingly limited choice of places to stay in Oxford at reasonably prices but plumped for this place based on previous reviews and weren't disappointed. Easy to find off a34 and ample safe parking. Lovely friendly welcome and room was ready when we arrived at 11am.... More
