The final few days of our mini moon were spent at Jury’s Inn Oxford, chosen because we always enjoy our stays in their Manchester hotel. We were not disappointed. Advance on line check in, email confirming the room was ready, friendly and helpful reception staff all added to the warm welcome we appreciate. The room was an executive and included robes and slippers which were a pleasant surprise. The facilities were modern, clean and spacious allowing rest and relaxation. It was a great base for our visit to Blenheim Palace and we dined here on the Saturday night, great family atmosphere in the restaurant and faultless service. Breakfast in a bag also included a token for a bacon or sausage barm really preparing us for the busy sightseeing day ahead. There was plenty of car parking on site, at a very reasonable price. The staff were all very helpful and all Covid safe information was easy to follow and very well sign posted. Thoroughly enjoyable and we really need to come back in the summer to experience more of Oxford and the rejuvenate facilities.

Stayed here for a weekend break with friends. Obviously due to Covid there was different procedures in place and really is Covid secure. Everyone had to wear face covering when in the hotel. Plenty of sanitisers around and track and trace procedures. There is parking at this hotel but had to pay £6 per day and you paid at the end of your stay. Check in was quick and efficient. Giving us our key cards for the rooms. The room was a standard one. It was large had tea and coffee making facilities. Plenty of storage space and very clean. A walk in shower with toiletries. A very comfortable bed with two pillows each. A single bed was in the room as well. The bar area was small and you had to wait to be seated. We had an evening meal the second night (the steakhouse grill was not open due to covid) in the bar. Limited menu put plenty of choice for us. It was table service and the staff were excellent always asking if you needed any more drinks etc, especially one staff who helps us with finding a local pub for a cooked breakfast the next morning. The hotel was only offering a continental breakfast to your room but I think in ‘normal’ times they do offer a cooked breakfast. It is about 3 miles into oxford so the reception staff ordered us a taxi and it came within 5 minutes. Looked around oxford with its iconic university. We were lucky as we saw students graduating, looking fine in their traditional gowns. Half a mile from the jury’s inn there is a couple of pubs. The White Hart and Jacobs Inn. We had a meal in the Jacobs Inn which was delicious. All in all it was a lovely weekend away with our friends. Thank you to all the staff you make this hotel.

We stayed for a night and was impressed by the protocols in place and the staff were brilliant. As we stayed in an executive room, we got free mini fridge, 10% off food and drink from the bar. Free breakfast and 2 free Costa’s. The breakfasts are very good value, you’ll have a breakfast bag left outside your room. This included a fruit pot, pastry, granola and a voucher for a egg, bacon or sausage roll which you pick up from Costa (served very quickly). Only minor gripe were the stains across the carpet, looked like tea and / or mud. But except for that immaculate. Would recommend if you’re in the area.

This is my first stay in a hotel since lockdown, taking my family on a little trip to the wonderful Oxford. I was really really pleased with the efforts that the team at the hotel had gone through to enjoy a safe visit, and how warm every member of staff was in greeting us around the hotel, despite not being able to flash a smile. The hotel had a great system in place to ensure we would not miss out on any of the benefits of staying at Jury’s Inn Oxford; a very clean gym with sanitising station was open - the pool, with capped numbers of guests allowed in meant we could enjoy a little swim, whilst adhering to social distancing measures, and the bar staff welcomed us promptly at the stairs, and showed us to a table quickly. With everything the Government are saying about closing pubs, bars, and restaurants to stop the spread of Covid19, I was really pleased to see the measure that the hotel had put into place to still be able to operate like a 4* hotel. Check in with Vincent was great, and we will definitely stay here again when we’re in the area. Well done Jury’s Inn Oxford team.
