This pub with accomodation is a short walk from the centre of Oxford. The building is old, with wonky floors, ceilings, staircases and everything else. The price is comparable with the excellent B&B over the road, which was closed, so we stayed here.
Booked and paid two nights , left after the first night , it was to awful couldn’t stay another night .

Quirky quaint and convenient to city centre but boy does it need a radical amount of TLC. On the positive side the bedroom and bathroom were clean and reasonably comfortable. On the negative side once you leave the bedroom you are met with a frayed...More
Visited last weekend with my family . Although quite basic the range of beers was great and the service is always friendly . Nice range of locals who go there to watch the many large screen sports events always being shown
This is a older pub with 10 rooms above it. We stayed here for 2 nights and probably wouldn't have stayed here any longer than that. Our room (#5) was on the second floor - which meant it was quieter (no one above) but faced...More
