This was very easy to find, being almost across the road from the train station. Small reception on the ground floor, friendly and helpful staff, no lift but we were on the first floor so not a great problem. The room was clean and there was fruit, tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water provided which was good. The bathroom was... More

Loved our one night stay at this hotel. Welcoming, helpful, friendly staff. Comfortable and spacious room on the second floor. Fresh fruit and water too. Beds very comfortable. Everywhere was clean. Breakfast was enjoyable. Hotel convenient to the town and near the railway station. Would definitely stay there again.

Handy hotel for the railway staiton. Warm welcome. Smart and clean bedroom overlooking the street. Straightforward breakfast - perfectly adequate - although the waiter didn't seem to have woken up properly and is best described as 'dosy but harmless'. We managed to help ourselves to most of the items we needed - like knives and forks, butter and jam, etc.... More

For the most part it was a nice stay and I would stay again. The hotel was built in the 30's and I suspect looking at the architecture had dining rooms and a garage. That was the one thing missing in my opinion. Nothing downstairs. A small reception area, stairs to the room and a shared Korean restaurant and breakfast... More

I selected this hotel because of the close proximity to the train station. It is an easy walk. Honestly, doesn't look like much from the outside as it is an old hotel, that has been maintained well through the years. There is no lift (elevator). The front desk staff was very professional and helpful. There were bottles of water, fruit,... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with my sister. As we knew there was no lift and she has bad knees, we requested a first floor room (as there were no rooms on the ground floor, this is a Korean restaurant). This request was honoured and in addition our room was described by the receptionist as one of their quiet ones.... More

We had not anticipated the hotel to be as good as it was. Great location for city centre and station. No parking on site but the public car park alongside the longstay station one was only a short walk away. Whilst the bedroom we had did suffer from traffic noise and some late night noise from a club across the... More

We stayed here for one night. Hotel is very close to the Oxford train station and a few minutes walk to the main historic Oxford University area. We chose this for proximity as well as its reasonable rates. Hotel is clean with simple outdated decor. I recall no elevators in this hotel. The room is decent size while the bathroom... More

I booked this hotel for its location and convenience for both the station and the tourist centre. I was staying only one night and expected a bog standard 3 star hotel. Every aspect of the hotel exceeded my expectations. Well appointed, well equipped room, a very good cooked breakfast in the morning and friendly, helpful staff. I'm not sure how... More

The hotel is within easy reach of the station, and also close to attractions such as the Oxford Playhouse theatre, so a good location for a weekend away. My room was clean and comfortable, with nice extra touches such as a fruit bowl, and reasonably priced for Oxford. Breakfast was good, with a wide choice, although not included in the... More
