Enjoyable stay and perfectly located for exploring Oxford and its surroundings. Very clean and well appointed rooms which are prefect for a short stay. The Morse Bar is perfect for a night cap and the interior very warm and welcoming. Will stay again when next in Oxford.

Couldn't ask for more from this place. Have stayed here a couple of times before and can never find fault with the place. This is however the first time I have stayed since they have had their refit, and it looks fab. Had a single room this time, but was just perfect for what I needed. Was able to have a really good catch up with some old friends, and dinner was superb! Thanks again for another great visit, I will be using you again very soon.

We stayed as a couple for one night for a break away without the children. On arrival the impression of the hotel was fabulous. The decor and theme in different rooms had me wandering to see what I would find while my husband checked in. On check in we were unable to book into the thermal suite which was really dissaponting as one of the reasons we booked the hotel. I think it would be great to message guests to make sure they book ahead rather than a message saying either call to book or book at reception on check in. Anyway we went to the cocktail bar instead so we moved on from it quite quickly. Great cocktails, staff that could suggest recommend and knew their stuff, a roaring fire and comfy chairs all made this a great experience. We had a deluxe room and it was lovely, all Alice in wonderland themed and such fab details, super comfy bed, a stunning view of buildings and skyline opposite too. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel but did have breakfast in the drawing room which was just charming, food was great quality and again the staff really friendly and looked after us. Would recommend this hotel for sure.

The hotel is beautiful, a really unique but classic design. The bed was one of the comfiest I had slept in and the fittings all of a high quality and very clean . The service was great, really friendly and attentive and when I left some shoes in my car the staff insisted on collecting them for me and bringing them to my room.
