My boyfriend booked this for a Valentine's treat. We were lucky enough to have the special Valentine's extra package. The room was clean and comfortable. The food in the Quod was delicious. It is very well located as the city centre is a short walk away. The parking spaces are snug for larger cars. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful....

Returned after 4 years and woke to deep blue sky, sun on the honey coloured stone and views. The friendly welcome had not changed and with stylish comfort, it is the most central base you could want. Parking at the rear is a bonus and with the covered market, colleges, botanic garden and river nearby, a lovely break. We had...

We visited Oxford for our wedding anniversary. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed the interesting and eclectic art works displayed. We also liked the literature in the room - books about Oxford and its environs. Dinner and breakfast were taken in the lively restaurant downstairs. The menu was varied and the food well cooked. Definitely recommend.

The Old Bank is perfectly situated on the High Street. It's a lovely hotel and spotlessly clean. The room was a little on the small side but not too cramped. Staff are lovely at the hotel although didn't have the same experience in the Quad Restaurant. The lift was out of order when we were there, didn't bother us but...

Every year we visit the Old Bank Hotel and it never disappoints. This year we were put in a newly furbished bedroom with the most stunning bathroom. It also had a new balcony overlooking Oxford. As it was our wedding anniversary, we were delighted. As always, the staff were just fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and they ensured that...

We are from nyc and I stayed at the old bank hotel with my two daughters visiting my oldest at university of Oxford. We stayed in a suite and it was perfect. Everything was wonderful...service, atmosphere, and the location is exceptional. If there was anything that I'd like to change it would be I'm 6'3" and for 3 people they...

My wife and I were looking for a hotel where we could celebrate our wedding anniversary and which was disabled friendly. The Old Bank was recommended on a web site for disabled travellers. We had room 2 which is on the ground floor just off reception. This comes with a large wet room. The location of the hotel couldn't be...

I booked this hotel based on its proximity to the town centre and the reviews left by other travellers and we were not disappointed. We were only here for one night and really wish we had booked two. The hotel offers suburb customer service, staff are very polite and professional. The rooms are clean and tidy, plenty of space and...

Excellent staff, easy parking in a city that is not car friendly, enjoyable food if a bit erring on the fast food side, comfortable room with seductive views over college roofs, just out of the door and into all that Oxford can offer. Don't know why the word 'boutique' was coined but it induces shuddering and a fear of silly...

Visited Old Bank for a couple of nights over new year. Had a great time. Room was clean and comfortable. A little bit of tlc needed to the shower. Only disappointment was the breakfast. Expensive and underwhelming. Didn't bother second morning. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Make sure you take advantage of the walking tour. Very good.
