Very comfortable hotel. Beds are a bit soft for my taste. Staff very friendly and accommodating . Air conditioning a bit of a problem. It is either off or on. We would run it on low fan while we went out and shut it off when in the room. Had to turn it on at night and it did get... More

From the recent reviews I wished I had stayed a night. However, it was only lunch this time and I was not disappointed. It was Sunday and one of the hottest days of the year so we were lucky enough to be seated at the rear of the property in a lovely courtyard with umbrellas to keep the heat at... More

My first trip to Oxford was made even better than anticipated by my stay at this wonderful boutique hotel. I was given a newly refurbished room on the 2nd floor which was beautifully appointed and decorated. The bathroom was completely modernized and, for the UK generic small scale rooms, this was at international standards of roominess and quality. I had... More

The Old Bank Hotel in Oxford England is exceptional. The location is central to all of Oxford's spectacular sites. It is also beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food at Quod is delicious and the linen's are to die for.

Just one nights stay whilst passing through Oxford. The attention to detail with the old building is lovely. Nothing to fault, wonderfully comfortable nights sleep, attentive and knowledgeable staff, and hotel was immaculate. 5 stars!!!

Our trip to the Old Bank Hotel was complete with door to door service. From the time we were picked up at Heathrow to being taken to our cruise ship in Harwich we were treated like royalty. This hotel is centrally located for walking and public transportation. Dining in the hotel was enjoyable too.

I stayed in the Old Bank hotel for one night at the end of March while visiting Exeter College at the University for an academic conference presentation. My family accompanied me, and we all agreed it was probably in the top three best hotel experiences we ever had anywhere around the world. Location: To begin with, the location was about... More

Thank you for such a detailed review! Just to pick up on the negatives, we are always happy to bring luggage to the rooms for our guests and therefore the size of our lift should never be too much of an issue. We do have a range of cereals available at breakfast, I am sorry you weren’t informed of the... More

We stayed here for 3 nights the end of June. We were greeted warmly upon arrival, with a check in process that was quick and efficient. Our room wasn't ready yet so our bags were quickly whisked away to storage by a friendly, smiling valet. We decided to have lunch at the restaurant, Quod, and were able to sit outside... More
