A great location for the Park and Ride and very reasonably priced. The family room was lovely and clean and the staff friendly and happy to help. It's just 10 minutes into the city centre so a great base for a city break.
Unbelievable value for our room price. Decor a little dated but that didn’t matter for what we paid and the bed linen and towels are always crisp and clean and staff all very welcoming. Park and ride location great aswell as a Starbucks/ Waitrose next door for snacks etc.
We stayed for two nights and picked this Travelodge based on having a limited budget. We asked for a double accessible room and overall it was good value for the money we paid and the staff were very nice. There were a few minor negatives, which are that parts of the hotel are…
Really just what you need - good sized room, shower and bath, well placed. Downsides are minor - WiFi is not free and that's just annoying (but it worked well), no restaurant or bar, but there is within walking distance. Excellent staff.
Smelly room, dirty towel and £20 to let the dog in to sleep. We paid £35 for us which was good value but the £20 for the dog we felt wasn't justified. £4 parking fee too (for 24 hrs). Friendly staff on reception and plenty of eating places around the hotel.
"Ask for a room on upper floors and facing inwards."
"Probably room at rear so you dont over look car park"
"Find another hotel"
"Don't rely on this hotel to honour your booking!"
"Our room overlooked the car park and our friends room was at the back. They seemed ok."
