We had an amazing couple of nights at Greenlands Hotel during the bank holiday weekend. All the hospitality staff were so friendly & welcoming (thanks to the lovely gentleman behind the bar, who made some recommendations to my husband) We felt like VIPs. Jenny on reception saved my life, I was hoping to book the hotel as a surprise for my husband on our anniversary, & thought all rooms had sold out, but Jenny had reserved one for me in time & really saved the day! The actual hotel is beautiful too, the building & room we stayed in was so clean & comfortable with wonderful views. The grounds are also lovely and maintained perfectly, I’ve added some photos! There was no hassle, we felt very much taken care of as stated but also was a very relaxed atmosphere. 100% would recommend! Thank you to all the staff at Greenlands Hotel. Kazama & Hannah Gimenez

I tripped over Greenlands as couldn't get into my first choice so Googled what was local and pleased to say I was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice place at a fair rate. I had driven passed the entrance gates many times and just did'nt know it was there which is indicative of how quiet the setting is on the banks of the Thames. I cannot find ant fault and the best review is that I will be returning.

Very tidy, clean, well kept inside and grounds. Staff very helpful. The grounds are well worth a walk around. Appears as though we were the only people there, felt very safe. Not to safe from Henley, taxi only around £5. I have been three times now, always high standards

Needing a break to recharge our batteries we discovered this hotel via Booking.com but booked directly with the hotel reception. All staff that we encountered could not have been more polite, friendly & helpful. The accommodation is spotless & the whole area is fully Covid safe. There are one way systems in place, sealed cutlery, single use preserves & condiments, sanitiser gels and housekeeping do not enter the room through the duration of the stay. We booked a room with balcony and were very fortunate to catch a couple of days of early Autumn sunshine. It was so peaceful, sitting enjoying a coffee, watching the wildlife. Whilst there we spotted a woodpecker, jay, squirrels, rabbits and much more. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and the waiting staff were trained to a high standard. The only slight issue we had was that we found the room was too hot so we kept the windows open at night. Also a choice of pillows might be helpful as I found them too high. Don't be put off by the name of this hotel - there are certainly no students running wild & it is a very peaceful, relaxing environment with plenty to watch on the Thames which runs through the extensive grounds. It certainly would appeal to more mature couples looking for a break away from the crowds, especially during this year's pandemic.

We chose to stay here as we had tickets for the Chiltern Vineyard and a wine and beer tasting tour which was ten minutes from the hotel. Check-in was easy and the lady on reception booked us a taxi to pick us up and take us to the Vineyard. Our room in Berry Brooke was lovely and spotlessly clean with views over the garden across to the Thames. There is ample parking just outside the block of rooms. The bar area was lovely to get a drink before dinner and the service at dinner was fantastic. My husband and I both enjoyed our steak. Breakfast in the morning was equally good, the breakfast was fresh, hot and tasty and the staff were great. The grounds are stunning, we walked around on the Sunday and it was lovely to see the new born lambs running around as well the flowers that were coming out. We would chose to stay here again as a weekend break without having anything in the area planned as it was so lovely.
