I dined at Loch Fyne for a friends birthday, the overall experience and atmosphere was poor, the food quality was not to standard, I had the duck and it was served with cabbage and had no sauce and the presentation was not great. I would not come back again after this, unfortunately

Stayed here for 1 night back in July for the Henley festival. Room was small with an internal view, small bathroom but for £70 for the night with breakfast and free parking perfectly OK for our needs. Breakfast was very nice with good service. Small car park at the rear which you need to navigate through the Waitrose car park...

Oh dear - unimpressive comedy room - very cramped with a bathroom open at both ends with no doors and an extractor that didn't work! All a little shoe-horned in to create a double. Staff were very accommodating at check in and at breakfast although the advertised buffet had no pastries or croissants (this seemed odd as the market literally...

The four of stayed here to go to the theatre. The rooms we had were more shabby than chic, but they were very clean. Our room had the most bizarre bathroom, up seven steep stairs to it and a wonderful fireplace. There were other interesting fireplaces around the hotel. The thing that really let down this town centre hotel was...

We had a lovely meal with interesting side dishes on a Friday night- wasn't very busy- staff were friendly and attentive. A range of dishes to suit all needs and tastes- tables spaced well so not on top of each other. Would recommend.

Loch Fyne is deteriorating rapidly, service slow, food luke warm or poor quality. Have been dining in Loch Fyne for several years, and its now not worth going to and if with friends or family, total embarrassment..............Never again

We find that Loch Fyne restaurants do vary. This is one of the better ones. Lovely interior, attentive staff and tasty food. The langoustines were plenty and succulent, the salmon moist and flavoursome.

We had a decent stay. The location is very central and we parked at the train station which was only a short walk away but could leave it there all day for £3.50. The breakfast was superb, great variety and well cooked. We stayed in room 5 which was very disappointing. Very small and a very odd bathroom behind a...

Excellent town centre location, you could not get closer to the centre of town. very helpful staff, big comfortable rooms (1 & 3), great breakfast. If you want a great location but a very affordable price this is it. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Found this place through the Internet and was not disappointed with its wonderful location & great staff. Gabrielle, think she was the deputy manager, bent over backwards to make our stay almost a family hotel with the attentiveness given to us. Requested a ground floor room which was wonderfully spacious although the bathroom was small. It would be perfect if...
