Our party of 4 stayed just one night at The Maytime Inn recently and it was superb from start to finish. The setting is idyllic in a tiny Cotswold village. The bar man was really cheery and helpful when we arrived, showing us to our immaculate and beautifully appointed rooms.

The winter menu offered all eight of us something we all wanted and we were not disappointed. A great place to stop, drink and eat, after a wonderful walk along the Windrush river. Very accommodated staff. All reasonably priced, warm and welcoming.

We lunched in the garden with close friends. The setting was beautiful; the staff friendly; the menu tempting; the food well prepared and presented. Oh, and good parking and wheelchair friendly. To be repeated. Thank you.

There are only 6 bedrooms and though children would be allowed to go, the web site shows the rooms either have a double bed or twins. I don't think they put a single bed in with a double bed as there isn't the room. Unless your baby is sleeping with you I would email them direct

Hi, Does the inn have a gym? Thanks. Julia
Simple answer as above - No its a country pub/hotel - not a modern city slicker!

Yep, I don't see how anyone wouldn't enjoy it there. I'm quite fussy but it was really friendly. Good choice present!
