We have just spent two nights at this excellent hotel, lovely comfortable room , diner was far better than expected and the breakfast exceptional. The staff were welcoming and very well trained all in all this is how a hotel should be run.

Situated in a quiet scenic town of Burford, is The Lamb Inn. I happen to experience their hospitality and be their guest on one winter’s day, and I treasure that experience. The three important aspects that stood for me were their hospitality, the food and the accommodation. I knew it will be a place where I will be experiencing highest...

You have highlighted many of the small touches we offer which we are very proud of. The hospitality you receive should be a standard but it is so nice to have our extras applauded. Many thanks.

Staying at The Lamb is luxury in a classic setting, roaring fires, a sumptious bedroom and the most friendly staff ever. Nothing was too much trouble for us frozen January travellers. Food in the restaurant was absolutely superb, so much so I had steak both nights, cooked in hay! Our couple of nights stay was in one of the nicest...

My God what a find! From the outside the Lamb Inn looks like any other nice pub/restaurants you find in Burford. Nice stone floors double bar solid restaurant area just what the tourists expect to see in this amazing Medieval town, which of course is a classic in the English Cotswolds. I did not do my research nor read the...

There is room for improvements, but they are small and wouldn't, unless you're a pedant, get in the way of enjoying a short or long weekend here. What we liked about The Lamb was after we'd "done the promenade" along the High Street we always wound up 'back at base' for a drink, a nibble, a bottle, dinner or all...

Our 3rd visit to the Lamb Inn at Burford. Cannot fault anything, but the highlight again is the collective attitude of the staff. They are magnificent in the way that they endeavour tirelessly to achieve the impossible act of "pleasing all of the people all of the time!". As a result of their hard work, the guests profit by being...

We booked an overnight valentines package & I couldn't have had a better time. The food was sublime, the service discreet & understated & the atmosphere romantic. That last point is quite tricky on valentines as places are often so busy & or all feels a bit commercial but it was all so classily done. Would highly recommend

My wife and I had a fabulous three nights here in December. Our room was very comfortable, the floor had the slope of several generations, the bathroom was definitely 21st century and it was very obvious that someone had given a lot of thought about how to make guests feel cared for and rather special. All the meals were excellent...

We went to the lambs inn last weekend to wind down after our wedding before returning to work and it was wonderful. The staff were very polite and helpful and the bar very cosy. Our room was beautiful - we had the Allium suite as we were spoiling ourselves. Where it is placed is fantastic for exploring Burford and the...

We have stayed here a few times now and have always enjoyed our visits. On our most recent trip, our room was smaller than ones we have previously stayed in but still comfortable. The bathroom was equipped with lovely Molton Brown products but no other accessories - a shower cap would have been appreciated to use in the power shower....
