Stayed for a night away midweek. The restaurant is superb. Focus on quality and presentation. Some may consider portion size a bit mean. This is meant to be a gastronomic experience rather than a big feed. We had the duck which was well presented with nice accompaniments. We also had the cheese and biscuits. Ten different cheeses, served with five...

Olde world comfort and service. Have yet to stay here but would not hesitate. Lovely inn. A treat to spend time in the cosy lounges with attentive service. Worth spending time there even if you do not stay a lovely retreat a cold evening!

We dropped in to The Lamb Inn on a cold and drizzly Sunday afternoon after visiting some beautiful Cotswolds towns with the hope of warming with a heart meal. We were accommodated with friendliness and access to the full lunch menu notwithstanding our arrival at 3pm. The game pie with mashed swede and carrots and the lamb shank with mash...

Although local having lived in the Cotswold for 46 years , this is first time we visited the Lamb with friends..A really super and imaginative lunch..excellent food and wine, with all the extra touches, homemade bread etc..which was included for a change! Will be back.

Have been going here over the course of the past 15 years and it always feels like a special place to be. Having been Xmas shopping at Burford Garden centre with my son, I decided to chance it and head to The Lamb for a light lunch. It was pretty much the same as my last visit, the lovely smell...

Had a wonderful two-night stay at the Lamb Inn in Burford. There is a warm reception waiting - literally - with period furniture, open fires an a cosy bar, set in this quiet street off the High Street in Burford. Our room was the perfect combination of traditional bedroom and modern en suite bathroom (shower only). We ate in the...

This restaurant promised much but failed to deliver. The lunch was overpriced and did not reach a standard I would have expected from such a busy place The staff were very helpful and obliging but they needed to be as the food failed to reach an a standard to match the price
