Stayed here last night with my Husband and our Labradoodle as our boiler was being replaced and we were delighted with the hotel, everything was spotless, the staff were friendly, the bed was comfy and we liked the shower. The view from our room was spectacular and it’s so handy

Very few memories of the hotel except a quick and easy check in/out, friendly staff, decent bar, a nice shower and amazing location for city centre hijinks. For the price this was a steal and great to be able to bimble back after the night was done without queuing for cabs.

Very nice hotel in a perfect location. Easy to get to via tram on the main city route and in a prime city centre location with everything around you. Great reception staff, late opening bar, room very nice, brilliant views from the window across the city. Will be back.

To answer my own question. Yes, I did walk it but would like to mention the coach station has now been closed and the National Express buses from Heathrow now stop on Station Street so the walk will take a little longer. A tram from the Railway Station does go to Ibis (Lace Market stop).

Piccolino over the road is really good and French Living on King St just the over the other side of Market Square is one of the best French meals I've had in Britain. Bon voyage!
