We stayed in the Old Coach House which was just right for our older children who needed their own space. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable and we loved the communal areas in the house. We were made very welcome and enjoyed the home cooked food and the relaxed atmosphere. We will definately stay again when visiting our daughter at...

To be fair, Emma, the owner, had flu. But she had clearly forgotten we were coming; forgotten our three telephone conversations about having a 3 course home cooked meal in a private room with a roaring log fire to entertain our friends who live locally; forgotten our conversations regarding the menu; forgotten our conversations regarding the necessity for a bedroom...

What a gem, an unexpected treat on a recent visit business trip. I arrived late was met by the owner Emma who carried my bags up and then rustled up a fantastic supper and glass of wine. Would recommend business travellers try it - definitely not a faceless corporate hotel.

The tea itself was beautifully presented, the food was delicious and the service outstanding. Very friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. I especially loved Hermes the beautiful resident black labrador. Have booked to...

Stayed in Emma's beautiful home, whilst visiting Nottingham to see Paul Simon in concert. Very comfortable, in this fabulous country house, with its lovely large rooms, elegant decor and wonderful views. Exceptional service, including a super breakfast, made us feel so welcome and our short stay was a delight.

Visiting Nottingham for a family funeral, I found this lovely country house, run by the wonderful owner Emma with evening entertaining from Alastair in the honesty bar/lounge, accompanied by their Black Labrador "Hermes". Beautiful large rooms, elegantly decorated in a home set in gorgeous gardens. Breakfast is served in the conservatory, off the kitchen at a large country table. If...

Such a great evening - Supper club,Halloween style - fabulous decorations, amazing food with great touches such as serving the soup in a hollowed out pumpkin. The RIP chocolate cake deserves special mention. Great natural wines on offer - fun dress up opportunity. Thank you Emma, Amanda and Petra for a truly special night out

What an amazing evening sampling gin finishing off with Kelly's Heroes (Irish band). Pizza available and hog roast. The whole evening was very relaxed and informal the host Emma took time to come and talk to us. We are looking forward to the next event. Would recommend it to everyone. Super venue Thank you

Great venue, lovely bar in the house with a marquee that held a gin tasting session. Followed by music. Food available too, which was great. The host is very welcoming and came round to check we were all alright.
