If you read some of the reviews you wouldn't choose to stay here. I had no choice. To be honest I feared the worst. But to be honest the room was clean and functional. I wouldn't come here for a second honeymoon but it did what it needed to do. Not sure there's a restraunt. The bar served cans from... More

Clean and tidy, friendly staff. Let down by single glazing on a main road, dripping gutter right outside the window. Noisy old bed with a cheap mattress. We didn't dare turn over! Basic amenities with your wash sink next to the bed, not in the bathroom. But it did the job for one night!

Just stayed the night. Kept time in the hotel to a minimum. Not nice but for the price can put up with it for one night. The room was basic, parking was awkward in front of the building and bathroom cleanish.

Well after having a horrible 4 hour drive which should have been a 2 hr 30 from Newcastle with my friends and boyfriend for a friends birthday I was excited to get to the hotel! I was in room 16 and my friends 18- their room was better than ours, ours smelt funny, shower curtain was disgusting and I got... More

This disgusting Hotel stinks of crack and cigarettes, so AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! plus alot of trouble from drunkerds, which is fuelled by the onsite bar! I complained to The owner about drugs being smoked in the building, but he tried to blame it on the drains! and The Night Porter even turned The Police away, after I reported yobos... More

We stayed overnight in the Cotswold in mid August 2016. In spite of its low price, we found the Cotswold to be clean and comfortable with attentive and helpful staff and an excellent breakfast. It may be a budget price, but it is definitely not budget accommodation. In terms of value for money, it was first class.

Room was a bit small but clean, with a nice en suite bathroom. Staff was nice and location is good, about 25 minutes walking from the city centre. It's a decent hotel for a good price, if you want to spend a weekend in Nottingham.

On arrival i was instantly discouraged by the old guy on reception who in trying to be polite was quite the opposite. Room 15 was smaller than a prison cell with no windows and very little room to manoeuvre. This room offers no comfort and the most painful aspect was the shower which gave nothing more than a trickle wich... More

Stayed here for just the one night. Booked a single room but got given a triple room which was a bonus. Manager was friendly when checking in, room small but clean. Plenty of towels provided. Bathroom tiny but again spotless and sufficient. Soaps provided, small TV in room. Kettle / tea / coffee etc in room. Quiet room with no... More

Clean and tidy but nothing special, if a little noisy at night. It was dated but everything functioned and the people were friendly and helpful. Stayed with family before my graduation and they thought it was adequate. It was cheap to get a taxi into the city centre for dinner.
