We stayed just one night as we travelled up to Northumberland. The room(No1) was excellent and the food was really good too. The staff were very helpful and we would recommend it to others and would also return again ourselves.
The pub is very tastefully presented and Lunch was delicious and really good value. Sandwiches were beautifully presented and the portion of chips was really tasty. The only downside was that the staff were a bit officious, telling me to stay where I was at...More
Stayed here for 3 nights as a couple with a dog. Based in a nice location close to a river and picturesque bridge not far from Hadrians wall. Good hotel / pub and would stay here again without hesitation
