Well where do I start. First and foremost the staff where top class, helpful cheerful and not able to do enough to help. BUT the room left a LOT to be ...... King size bed with double quilt that doesn't fit, only one bedside table, no bedside lamps only main room light, nice corner bath supported on blocks, plug sockets... More

The place needs redecorating from top to toe. The accommodation is only basic but they are charging as if it is a 5-star hotel. Avoid if you can there are much better hotels in and around Northampton.

Very basic dark and horrible room which was dirty and probably the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. Staff, with the exception of one lovely barmaid, were rude. Noise from the road kept everyone awake. Bedroom light was too dim to see anything. Breakfast was horrible, customers were constantly asking for things as it wasn't being topped up or... More

Really wasn't what we was expecting, rooms very low standard & not very clean. Bathroom & toilet was shared which we wasn't made aware of, dodgy tv & remote. Was really disappointed. Lots of stairs & walking to do to find room & no lift. We slept in & missed breakfast but when we got up at 11am we asked... More

Our first, deluxe, room hadn't been cleaned when we were assigned it at 4pm. The next room, a family room - the only other deluxe room available- was made, that's about as good as it got. The double bed was so soft you disappeared inside it. The walls had bubbling and pealing plaster from damp and dirty, the shower was... More

Previous reviews hit the nail on the head for this hell hole. The front of house staff, while pleasant and chirpy during daylight hours seem to become noisy boisterous drunks once darkness descends in Northampton. The squalid rooms have terrible paintwork from the room door onwards. Mould is a common theme throughout the establishment, possibly due to the terrible workmanship... More

Upon arriving at the hotel i had a warm greeting from a lovely receptionist lady. Following the corridor it seemed ok, until you went through the door to the back half of the hotel. It seemed that part of the hotel doesn't benefit from heating. Walking past rows of blue doors, and stale cigarette smell, we got to a door... More

The hotel is a little bit old and weird... but still they try to make the stay as nice as possible. It was a short (one night, actually) stay for a reasonable price, so exactly what I was looking for :)

Booked this hotel due to been pretty central , last choice on our list everything was booked up , scruffy is not the word , smelly, and decor an absolute disgrace. Fortunately we didn't have to spend time in there and it was only for the night , don't go !
