We were out for the day and called in here for lunch. We have been here a few times before and always had good food. The barman was, to say he least a tad grumpy and not the most welcoming. However, we persevered. My husband ordered the special of the day which was a five fish, fish cake with an... More

Third stay at the CB inn and as before things have not disappointed. The beers, wines and food are excellent with very helpful staff. Book a table for the evening meal as it gets very busy. Superb breakfast. The scenery and walks around this part of Yorkshire are stunning which make it a wonderful place to stay.

Called in on the off chance when passing and found a little gem. The staff were so very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was superb and just what I was looking for and all at a very reasonable price

Just returned from a two night visit. We had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is located about 2/3 miles outside Reeth. There is a large car park, but very little surrounding the pub. It's a great location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, either on foot or by car. We upgraded our room to a superior room and it was excellent.... More

This is our third stay at the CB Inn and as always it has been excellent once again. The location is stunning, and a beautiful view to wake up to in a morning. The staff are very friendly and will help out any way they can. The food is locally sourced and there is an excellent choice on the menu,... More

Usually we go to the Lakes for the weekend but all except the remote walks are crowded on the weekend so we found Arkensgarthdale which was seriously improved by the hospitality of the CB Inn Welcoming staff, great food and no phone signal... perfect

We've stayed there three times now and never been disappointed. The rooms are well appointed, if a little tired. The staff do a good job keeping a rambling hotel clean and tidy. The restaurant is good with a fine selection to choose from. Breakfast is second to none.

We stayed for two nights, bed, breakfast and evening meal, during our tour of the North. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. A lively atmosphere in the bar with a mix of locals and tourists. The meals were good, my wife particularly liked the crumble. The location is great for walking or touring. Our room was fine, and to be... More

Stopped in at the CB Inn during a circular walk around Langthwaite & Arkengarthdale. The pub has a good lunch menu, a very good sticky toffee pudding, and lovely rhubarb & crumble. Given my penchant for hot chocolate I was pleased the bar man advised me the hot chocolate is made with hot water rather than milk (thank you to... More
