Went for a two night stay in late January. a welcome revisit to the CB in after a 2 year break. As usual the accommodation is comfortable, the food is outstanding, and the welcome is warm. There are some fabulous walks nearby and its in a lovely location. Look forward to visiting again soon.

I have stayed at the CB around a dozen times - on my own, and with various family members and friends. The rooms are excellent, the food is always superb and the service is friendly and helpful, including taking in to account any special dietary requirements. The bar, where I always choose to eat, feels like a "local", but the...

We stopped off overnight on our way to Northumberland I can more than recommend eating here. We shared a delicious pickled and smoked fish starter followed by a perfectly cooked piece of cod for me and a confit pheasant dish for my partner. The atmosphere is warm and cosy and the staff pleasant and very helpful. We will most certainly...

Had to cancel on the day we were due to arrive due to the sudden and unexpected passing of my Father in law that day. Telephoned them, they were very unsympathetic and cold hearted, they then charged me £195 on top of my £75 deposit. They appeared to have rebooked our room for at least one of the nights. I...

It's several years since we last stayed at the CB Inn so we're pleased to take advantage of a good offer. Glad to say that the rooms and the food are just as good as ever. Our room (11) was large and well equipped with cracking views from the 2 aspects. Dinner was fine as was the reasonably priced wine,...

Excellent food and accommodation, friendly and inviting staff and a superb location for hiking, biking or just touring the beautiful area. We have stayed on a number of occasions and find ourselves drawn back time and time again.

Booked in for a birthday meal in this lovely hotel only to find that on ordering from the menu painted on the mirror in the bar, that due to being busy between Christmas and New Year that very few options were available. We had to order by process of elimination and ended up having to have a starter as a...

The CB Inn is set in a superb location in the heart of Arkengarthdale. Only a short distance away the village of Reeth is a well-known centre for outdoor activities (especially walking) in Swaledale, - though, of course, Arkengarthdale itself lends itself to walking amongst some splendid scenery. We found the CB Inn to be very welcoming in all respects,...
