We stayed here as we were attending an event at the Tan Hill as they were fully booked. Fab location for the Tan hill with it being only 8 miles away. Although when the snow hit it seemed like forever. We arrived and were shown to our room. A lot of stairs so not suitable for people that struggle with...

Amazing pub in the middle of the Dales National Park. Squishy sofas, roaring fires, great food, wonderful staff. What more do you want? Stayed for two nights with friends and our dogs. Fantastic place. Will stay again.

We stayed at a holiday cottage in the village but was only a 10 minute walk to The CB Inn. We had our young cocker spaniel with us and we were all made so welcome, lunch times just for a drink and once for lunch, where we were meeting some friends and then on our last night we had dinner....

We booked the valentines night away here, and I'm honestly sorry I've only just managed to right about it - because honestly, it was amazing! Walking into a pub like setting with the firelit was just what we needed after a cold 2-hour drive. Check in was simple and personal, we were led to our room which was really nicely...

Our room was spacious, with a good view, very functional 'en suite' and a wonderfully comfortable bed. You get the feeling that this old hotel has been providing a very high level of hospitality for a very long time. Free wifi worked well. The hotel is located on a road that is quiet at night, in a wonderfully scenic part...

Scot trial day sees a lot of tourists visit this pub for lunch &/or a drink. After ordering food and drinks at the bar for me and my family i was extremely disappointed to hear the barman say to a local standing next to me ' I'll just alter the price for locals'. How to rub salt into a wound!...

We visited the CB Inn on 18 September, on our 40th wedding anniversary, having spent our wedding night at the same inn. The atmosphere was really friendly and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The views are amazing and the food was very good. We enjoed it so much we have booked to spend New Year there.

I've been coming here for the vest part of 30 years. The beer is great, the food is great and the location is fab. I've had relatives marry here and family stay, I've been for drinks before but the little meals are great. Order a selection and share. After lunch head towards low row and as you go through the...
