Apologies for the lateness of writing this review......We booked this stay direct via telephone back in July . We were asked if it was a special occasion and it was for our wedding anniversary. We arrived earlier than expected and our room wasn't quite ready so we headed to the bar area for a drink to wait. We were greeted...

Very nice place. Had a few problems which were sorted very quickly by the really nice staff there. Small but comfortable room and really nice breakfast. Ideal location just 10 minutes walk into the centre of town.

Great stay as always. Friendly staff. Rooms clean and bright. The new extension makes a great lounge area and a chance to relax and chat to other guests. Love that this place is dog friendly as well! Perfect 10 minute walk along river to city.

A lovely quiet place to stay, room was decent, did a great cooked breakfast and very helpful and polite staff. It was a 10 min walk to the centre of York along the river which was lit up at night and looked great.

We stayed a while ago and had a lovely time. The walk into the centre isn't far and is scenic. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were so polite! I have no complaints at all and will definitely stay again next time I visit York!

Brilliant location, a lovely ten minute walk into York along the river, and the shopping outlet just a five minute drive away. The York Priory was a fantastic find and we will definitely return. Friendly and welcoming, lovely clean and tidy room (we stayed in a double classic) we only stayed one night so would probably go for a bigger...

We booked a Classic Double Room at The York Priory for Two adults and our Doggie. The room was £85 with a £10 surcharge for the dog. I must admit it was nice being able to park up in the Hotel Car Park long before our check in time and take the short walk along the river into town. The...
