The staff were really nice here and it was clean. However, I got woken up at about 6.30am every morning we were here as the fan of next door's bathroom was really loud through our wall. I could easily hear the doors being slammed also. The bed was also a little small.

Currently staying at the crescent put it this way we won't be staying again, booked it as a last minute thing and it doesn't look anything like the picture on the website. I would like to say it's clean but it's not cobwebs everywhere, paint chipped, walls very thin(as I found out about 10minutes ago when the people in a...

Only 15 minutes walk from the train station, 10 minutes from the city walls. We received a warm welcome from Jason on arrival, we arrived early at 1pm, but our room was already. Jason gave us a map of York which helped. Room 5 with a double and single bed at the front of the Guest house. It was clean...

The guest house is 10 mins walk from the minster, and you get a parking permit so you can park for free throughout your stay. The B&B is in the style of the area, which does result in the rooms being a little small but I loved the quirkiness which reminds you of where you are. Room was clean, and...

Couldn't ask for anything more for the money.. G2 room is lovely, great decor and the best location. Isn't the best place we have stayed but half the price of the other hotels in the area and includes breakfast.

We stayed here for one evening... Thank goodness we hadn't booked longer!! We were greeted by a large man, in jogging bottoms and food stained t shirt ( not a good first impression). He told us to make our way upstairs and wait at reception ( a tiny office) He gave us a parking permit and keys, asked did we...

My husband our 11 year old son and I stayed at The Crescent guesthouse (B&B) for 4 days. It was satisfactory to our needs. Nice and clean. They offer a full English breakfast which was very nice, but I really missed some good bread, some cheese and perhaps some fresh fruit. They staff were very friendly and the guesthouse is...
