Everything was good but room 7 has barely any room in it around the beds and furniture. I was one petson in a double room. Not sure how two of us would have coped. My next night in York was a modern hotel for less...More
Just had a very enjoyable stay at St Mary's Fiona and all the staff are very welcoming and helpful,been staying in York for over 25 years this is a beautiful clean and full of character hotel great stay thanks to all.
Great reception, great room, fantastic breakfast, good location, just far enough away from city centre,but well within walking distance along the ouse.
very well looked after by 3 ladies, who were really helpful.

Fantastic,friendly,homely,clean and comfortable.Great location for city,staff were very friendly,polite,and helpful from the start.Breakfast was lovely and filling,already booking for our next visit,we enjoyed it so much and were made to feel so welcome
Nice friendly guest house close to the railway station, NRM and city centre, but in a quiet side st away from the stag and hen parties which seem to take over at the weekends.
