Lovely house, very homely and clean, very soft bed and city centre is about 5 min walk away all in all a wonderful stay, only problem is a sports stadium down the road that's very loud but obviously isn't overnight

The breakfast was amazing with a lot of choice, and the owner and staff were very welcoming. The location was very central to York...

I was a bit nervous booking in to a guest house alone- I don't usually travel alone, but I immediately felt safe here, I will most certainly use this b&b again, the room (2) was very warm and cosy with a nice on-suite, the breakfast selection was great and I loved the fresh coffee and orange juice. It was only...

For one night in York, this is a lovely, cheap place to stay. I went with my mum and nan, and we had a room with 3 single beds and an en suite. It was clean, tidy, nicely decorated and was altogether a pleasant room. However, one of the lamps didn't work, and we had to order our breakfast the...

Would definitely recommend...

This is a wonderful place to stay if you want a quiet area close to old York. It is only a shot walk to the Minstry and old York. The street is quiet with very little traffic. Food and service were very good.

I loved the house -- very well maintained, cute decor, everything you want in a bed and breakfast. You put in your order for breakfast the night before and have the option of choosing an enormous traditional breakfast that I can't imagine anyone could possibly eat or "picking and choosing" a simpler breakfast. A plus: they have vegetarian sausage! We...
